**Job Summary:**
Please note, this is NOT a Data Analyst role! This is a full-time position in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Kristin Archer, PhD, Principal investigator. A Health Services Research Analyst with at least 2 years of clinical research is needed on the team to support a multi-center randomized clinical trial funded by the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI). This position will enroll and follow study subjects undergoing orthopaedic surgery at VUMC and will assure compliance with the study protocol. Oracle's Health and Federal Database Services Team is actively seeking a dedicated, reliable, and driven Site Reliability Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our Federal Database Team. This position is based in the United States and presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the improvement of healthcare services within a dynamic multi-tenant cloud environment. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will be instrumental in achieving our mission to enhance healthcare services. Your key responsibilities include:
+ Triage and troubleshoot complex database alerts and issues, identify root cause, and implement corrective actions and seek opportunities for automation.
+ Implement and maintain advanced database security in compliance with DISA STIGs.
+ Conduct proactive database forecasting.
+ Support best practices for database all aspects of database management, architecture, security, and automation.
+ Identify industry trends and align with MAA best practices.
+ Communicate with peers, leadership, client, and cross team channels to achieve maximum alignment on projects and client requirements.
+ Consult with development teams on optimal data architectures, and database physical structure and functional capabilities and cyber compliance.
+ Evaluate and implement process and technology improvements through automation to enhance availability, capacity, and performance of database systems.
+ Support the development of business continuity and disaster recovery plans, processes, and procedures on database technologies and cloud databases
+ Contribute to strategic projects outlined in our roadmap, focusing on transitioning on-premises databases to Oracle Cloud.
+ Support the planning and develop strategies to migrate databases to the Autonomous Database, ensuring a seamless transition for optimal performance.
+ Work collaboratively with multiple teams, actively participating in the execution of roadmap projects.
Additionally, you will be part of the OHAI roadmap projects, such as migrating the Database to Oracle Cloud and Autonomous Databases
**Responsibilities**
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ At least 6+ years of experience as Oracle DBA, Site Reliability Engineer, or Oracle Database Architect.
+ 6+ years of experience managing scalable, on-prim and cloud native distributed systems.
+ Bachelor's degree/master's degree (Information Technology/Mathematics/Computer Science/Computer Software/Electronics/Operational Research/Computer System Engineering).
+ Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
+ Strong grasp of Computer Science concepts
+ Knowledge in PL/SQL, Python, Perl and/or Shell Scripting
+ Managing production databases running on Exadata.
+ Deep understanding of the Oracle Database
+ Oracle Grid Infrastructure, ASM & RAC
+ PL/SQL and or shell or perl scripting
**Preferred Qualifications** **:**
+ Oracle Maximum Availability Architecture & Exadata.
+ High availability & replication technologies (Data guard, Goldengate)

Shared Functional Services (SFS) is a core part of this platform, delivering reusable services, APIs, and plugins that power critical workflows across clinical, operational, and financial applications.
We are seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead product strategy and delivery for Oracle Health's Shared Functional Services in the platform team. These services include capabilities such as Rules Engine, Alerts & Notifications, Worklist & Tasking, Unified Messaging, Payments, Patient & Encounter Search, and other cross-application services.
You will:
+ Drive the strategy, roadmap, and execution for one or more Shared Functional Services.
+ Partner with engineering to deliver cloud-native, scalable, and reusable services that power multiple Oracle Health applications.
+ Define and own service APIs, extensibility points, and governance frameworks that guide application teams in when/how to use shared services.
+ Collaborate with UX, Compliance, and Application PMs (clinical, back office, revenue cycle) to ensure consistent, intuitive, and compliant end-user experiences.
+ Serve as a thought leader for platformization-turning point capabilities into reusable platform services with SLAs, observability, and extensibility.
+ Engage with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure Shared Functional Services meet adoption, performance, and compliance goals.
Key Responsibilities
+ Lead product discovery, requirements definition, and roadmap planning for assigned Shared Functional Services.
+ Author PRDs to drive clarity, alignment, and decision-making across engineering, design, and product leadership.
+ Balance near-term delivery (quarterly releases) with long-term strategy, ensuring adoption across multiple consuming teams.
+ Partner with compliance and security teams to ensure all services meet HIPAA, ONC HTI-1, and FedRAMP requirements.
+ Develop success metrics (adoption, CSAT, SLA adherence, reuse %) and track them rigorously.
+ Communicate service strategy, roadmap, and adoption status to leadership and cross-org stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
+ 8+ years of product management or related experience in health IT, SaaS platforms, or enterprise applications.
+ Proven track record of owning complex, cross-functional products or services with high organizational visibility.
+ Strong understanding of APIs, extensibility frameworks, and cloud-native services.
+ Customer-focused mindset with experience driving adoption across enterprise or public sector clients.
+ Demonstrated ability to work strategically and tactically in a fast-paced environment.
+ Exceptional collaboration and communication skills; ability to influence at multiple levels of the organization.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Experience with healthcare IT standards (FHIR, HL7, HIPAA, ONC).
+ Background in platform or shared services product management.
+ Familiarity with developer experience, SDKs, and plugin architectures.

As a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Suggest and justify product directions and specifications.
