Waupun provides services to all age ranges to include primary therapies, medication management, etc. Ripon includes a walk-in behavioral health clinic. Travel to Fond du Lac occasionally would also be needed. This position will support a small case load as well. **Job Summary:**
Supervises staff and daily work activities within behavioral health.
**Job Responsibilities and Requirements:**
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Determines, coordinates and supervises daily staffing assignments and staffing levels.
+ Provides leadership, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring. Assists with hiring, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions and termination procedures.
+ Coordinates delivery of patient care and/or services with other members of the healthcare team to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.
+ Participates in direct delivery of care depending on patient census. Completes patient evaluations and treatments as needed.
+ Participates in ongoing short and long range planning to help ensure the organization's behavioral health needs are met.
+ Ensure departmental compliance with federal and state regulations, regulatory agencies and third-party payers.
+ Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
+ Master's degree in Behavioral Health or related field
EXPERIENCE
+ Four years' experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
+ Frequent reaching, sitting, standing and walking.
+ Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more).
+ Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
+ Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
+ Occasional bending, stooping, climbing, twisting and gripping.
+ Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
+ Occasional use of vision to identify and distinguish colors.
+ Occasional driving.
+ Rare repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements and squatting.

As a Patient Care Associate/Nursing Assistant in the Emergency Trauma Center, you will find your purpose providing an array of medical services designed to keep adults feeling well and in control of their health! Under the supervision of the RN, the PCA performs various duties assisting staff nurses in the treatment and care of patients in accordance with the established methods and procedures of the hospital and will perform receptionist secretarial support duties while maintaining confidentiality of patient information. Here are some ways you'll serve patients:

As a Patient Care Associate/Nursing Assistant in the Emergency Trauma Center, you will find your purpose providing an array of medical services designed to keep adults feeling well and in control of their health! Here are some ways you'll serve patients:
- Critical monitoring, like vital signs and glucose checks - so we can better assess their health
- Transport them to appointments and procedures - to get them the right care at the right time
- Interact with them to promote comfort, and express compassion and empathy as they heal
- Walking - It's one of the most important things we can do for them- and you get to help them do it safely
- Assist with ADLs (activities of daily living) - these are things we often take for granted that patients may be unable to, or need help doing, themselves. ADLs include bathing, brushing teeth, toileting and more.
- Manage communication in the patient care area regarding patient care activities and patient location, for patients and families, and refers requests to nursing staff or appropriate hospital personnel
- Initiate, assemble, and maintain charts for all patients on the assigned unit
- Transcribe physicians' orders; complete all necessary forms, requisitions, and communications necessary to implement orders
- Record and chart clinical data and other patient information received from nursing staff and medical staff in addition to maintaining the patient chart in appropriate, functional order as prescribed by Hospital and unit policy
- Part-time, 56 hours every two weeks
- During the week, rotating 8-hour shifts, 6:45AM to 3:15PM and 11:00PM to 7:00AM
- Every third weekend, rotating 12-hour shifts, Days and Nights.
- Rotating Holidays
- Starting pay begins at $18.43 per hour; exact wage determined by years of related experience
- Pay range: $8.43 - 24.44 per hour

- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience, including ability to read, write, and comprehend medical terminology
