The job provides professional support and solves problems in collecting, organizing, and analyzing information from the University's various internal data systems as well as from external sources. The job performs data analysis assignments related to data manipulation, statistical applications, programming, analysis and modeling in order to support the research efforts of faculty members focused on surgical health services and implementation outcomes research.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducts statistical analysis to support surgical outcomes and health services research.
- Manages and analyzes large national datasets, including NSQIP and ILIANA.
- Oversees and guides resident and fellow-led research projects by providing data support and analytic mentorship.
- Collaborates with study investigators to design analytic plans and interpret results.
- Maintains organized, reproducible code and data management workflows.
- Serves as the dedicated research data resource for multiple projects across varying stages of development.
- Develops and maintains research databases, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
- Assists in preparing datasets, figures, tables, and summaries for grant proposals, manuscripts, and presentations.
- Coordinates with external collaborators and data partners as needed.
- Analyzes moderately complex data sets for the purpose of extracting and purposefully using applicable information.
- Provides professional support to staff or faculty members in defining the project and applying principals of data science in manipulation, statistical applications, programming, analysis and modeling.
- Builds and analyzes statistical models and reproducible data processing pipelines using knowledge of best practices in machine learning and statistical inference. Serves as a single point of contact for all requests and engages other IT resources to assist as needed. May partner with other campus teams to assist faculty with data science related needs.
- Performs other related work as needed.
Minimum requirements include a college or university degree in a related field. Minimum requirements include knowledge and skills developed through 2-5 years of work experience in a related job discipline. Preferred qualifications include a master's degree in biostatistics, epidemiology, data science, public health, health informatics, or related field. Experience mentoring or supporting trainee research (e.g., residents, fellows) and prior experience working in an academic medical center or research institute setting are also preferred. Preferred competencies include proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R, SAS, or Stata) and data management tools, familiarity with working with large clinical datasets or national registries (e.g., NSQIP), strong understanding of clinical research principles and methodology, excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, familiarity with health services research or outcomes-focused studies, and knowledge of database query languages (e.g., SQL).

Behavioral Health Nurse Director
We are seeking an experienced, motivated and creative Behavioral Health Nurse Director for our Hospital Nursing Unit in Chicago, IL. The Director oversees the administration, management, supervision, and development of mental health programs and delivery of behavioral health services. The Director provides and supervises mental health care services at the Nursing Center; including coordinating clinical programming, treatment planning, discharge planning, individual, group and family therapy and is responsible for providing clinical supervision. The Director evaluates patient care and assesses what is required by way of treatment; acts as a consultant for physicians and behavioral health care staff; delivers emergency and ongoing direct clinical service as needed; and evaluates patients when clinically indicated.
Responsibilities
- Develop and participate in mechanisms that support the recruitment, retention, and ongoing education of clinical staff.
- Participate and coordinate compliance in surveys related to accreditation and licensure and acts as the accountable representative for the Clinical Department.

This is a 75% administrative and 25% clinical (outpatient) position functioning on a 5-day, eight-hour shift schedule reporting to the Associate Vice President of Corporate Services. The Employee Health functions across the system providing critical services to all Rush employees, beginning with new employee screening, injury evaluations and management, mandatory immunizations, monitoring and treatment of communicable disease exposures with special attention to w/c case management, fit for duty and return-to-work (RTW) evaluations.

Duties & Responsibilities:

The **Advanced Practice Provider (APP)** is a licensed physician assistant (PA) or advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) who functions as a member of the health care team to provide high quality, comprehensive acute and/or routine medical/surgical care of Rush patients within the scope of practice granted in accordance with the Rush University Medical Center medical staff bylaws. The APP will promote collaboration between multiple disciplines to ensure cost effective and quality patient care. Job Description
The U.S. Services East Business Growth Director is responsible for driving standardization, best practices, and innovation across the portfolio to enhance business development efforts within state and local government health and human services. This role ensures strategic solutioning, market intelligence, and leadership engagement to optimize bid strategies and improve win probabilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for capture, pursuit, and solutioning architecture for multiple lines of business.
- Provide strategic guidance to executives including solution shaping and strategy responses.
- Develop strong business relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Provide guidance to executives for decision making.
- Work to maintain a win/loss ratio.
- Drive standardization, best practices, and innovation across the portfolio to enhance competitive positioning
- Provide leadership with status updates on opportunities, risks, trends, and key decisions required for bid success
- Lead key discussions in key solutioning, pricing, and proposal meetings in collaboration with Operations, Business Solutions Group, Technical Architects, Capture, and Proposals
- Utilize recent opportunities and competitive landscape insights to drive strategic solutioning and tailor bids to government agency needs
- Evaluate existing or proposed technology stacks, identify innovations, assess staffing approaches, evaluate MBE/WBE or other vendor partners, and proposal and pricing strategy
- Provide recommendations on key decisions to leadership to ensure alignment with company goals and client expectations
- Identify emerging industry trends, share best practices, and lessons learned across the portfolio to enhance organizational strategy
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related field.
- 10 years relevant professional experience.
- At least 7-10 years of experience in Capture, Business Development, or related position
- At least 7-10 years of experience in state & local government, with strong knowledge of health and human services programs
- Experience managing P&L or Operations, preferred
- Demonstrated experience leading bid efforts and ability to effectively inspire and influence teams and partners to meet business needs and strategic goals
- Demonstrated experience in a matrixed environment with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong leadership, collaboration, negotiation, and communication skills
- Strong familiarity with government procurement processes and compliance requirements, operational policies & procedures, and innovative technology solutions
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, or a related field (Master's preferred) or equivalent years working experience.
