The TA Specialist works as a recruiting and human resources partner supporting organizational goals by managing forecasted and un-forecasted staffing needs.

Summary

The TA Specialist works as a recruiting and human resources partner supporting organizational goals by managing forecasted and un-forecasted staffing needs.
Responsibilities
- Serve as SME to specific facilities/locations ensuring proper strategies are in place to meet hiring needs
- Establish solid working relationships as the key HR support and collaborate with the General Manager and all levels of management to initiate, develop, and execute strategic HR plans and workforce development strategies to drive business results.
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders within assigned areas of responsibility
- Partner with hiring managers to review, analyze and clarify job specifications, leadership behaviors and skills required; understand business operations and develop recruiting strategies to fill staffing needs
- Work closely with HRMs and hiring managers to deliver strategic hiring strategies targeted towards each functional area
- Manage the full life-cycle recruiting process locate candidates, screen & interview candidates, schedule interviews, coordinate a variety of other items relative to recruitment scheduling, utilize Company applicant tracking software, sell the candidate on Company's attributes, extend verbal offer
- Engage the Recruitment Technology for job posting process and properly maximizing system capabilities working within the SOPs and Requisition Management Guidelines
- Develop sourcing plans specific to each job opportunity within designated locations and build bench of diverse talent with candidates sourced and ready for interviewing and presentation to hiring managers
- Utilize proactive recruiting techniques, develop industry contacts and select qualified individuals who will provide added value to the department, business objectives and the Company
- Utilize behavioral interview techniques and web based assessment tools to identify qualified candidates
- Accountable for Affirmative Action Plans for specified requisitions/functional areas.
- Analyze the state of the talent market for competitiveness with respect to compensation and other factors.
- Assist Hiring Managers in developing and extending competitive job offers, and communicate acceptances to TA Services team for completion of the hiring process.
- Participate with external committees and organizations in area of recruitment establishing positive community outreach relationships to increase diversity hires. Serve as primary liaison to national diversity organizations within functional areas.
- Maintain an in-person presence at least three days per week to support team collaboration, business needs, and employee engagement
- Other projects as assigned
- BA/BS Business Management or related discipline or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years full-cycle recruiting experience in a complex recruiting environment
- Strong strategic development, implementation, and ongoing execution of effective recruitment plans and selection strategies for senior-level roles
- Proven experience in a broad spectrum of direct sourcing methodologies (including passive sourcing)
- Knowledge of the consumer products industry is a plus
- Skilled at partnering with hiring teams to build effective sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches with an ability to manage client expectations through a deep understanding of ROI
- Proven ability to work effectively with senior-level management

Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business or related field or eight years of recruiting/talent experience including contemporary full-cycle recruitment required
- Minimum two years hands on experience with full cycle recruiting, including sourcing candidates, screening/interviewing candidates and negotiating offers
- Good knowledge of HR practices/policies/systems and related laws/ regulations/reporting requirements
- Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff
- Strong work planning, time-management, organization, and prioritization skills
- Skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint required
- Strong oral/written communication, interpersonal, detail orientation and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management required
- Manage a high volume of exempt and non-exempt requisitions simultaneously, within a fast-paced environment, while delivering high caliber talent
- Consult with leaders, hiring managers and human resources team on position descriptions, compensation, sourcing strategies and interviewing techniques
- Source high quality and diverse back-office and operations talent through a variety of sources, including social media and professional networks
- Own the full recruitment life cycle for both internal and external recruitment, operating as the subject matter expert for job postings, candidate selection, offers and onboarding
- Responsible for ensuring that key governance/control processes and policies are managed throughout the recruitment life cycle and the applicant tracking/HRIS system is maintained and kept updated
- Build good relationships with leaders, acting as a trusted partner for all recruitment related activities
- Proactively provide status updates on and results to leadership and HR partners
- Utilize search engines, career sites, recruiting events and attend local colleges/job fairs to attract candidates
- Provide recruiting data and statistics
- Perform other duties as assigned
