**Job Title: Field Service Technician**
Job Description
As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining ICEE and various restaurant equipment, including carbonated and non-carbonated dispensers, fountain beverage equipment, ice makers, and juice dispensers. This role requires working with minimal supervision and participating in weekly meetings at the Service Center. The position includes dispatch service calls to client sites and involves preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
Responsibilities
+ Service and maintain ICEE and restaurant equipment such as beverage dispensers, ice makers, and juice dispensers.
+ Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot service problems.
+ Ensure quality checks on products, such as syrup levels and machine cleanliness.
+ Travel to various client sites across the Milwaukee area using a company-provided service vehicle.
+ Attend weekly meetings at the Service Center.
Essential Skills
+ 2+ years of experience as a Service Technician.
+ Experience with HVAC or refrigeration.
+ Mechanical and electrical skills.
+ Strong troubleshooting abilities.
+ Basic mechanical aptitude.
+ Capability in preventive maintenance and installation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
+ Experience with small mechanical sub-assemblies.
+ Familiarity with hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, and wire crimpers.
+ Ability to operate touch screen devices like tablets and smartphones.
+ Graduation from a Technical or Vocational School is a plus.
+ Valid driver's license with an excellent driving record.
+ Ability to lift 55 lbs regularly and occasionally lift over 70 lbs.

Work Environment
The role requires working Tuesday through Saturday, from 7 am to 3:30 pm, with options for overtime and additional days. Technicians will travel to various locations, including convenience stores, restaurants, and retail outlets like Target and Walmart. Initial training occurs during the day shift from Monday to Friday, and once trained, technicians will be assigned to one of the available schedules. Workdays typically start between 6 am and 8 am and are usually 10-hour days.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Berlin, Wisconsin.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.

Our client, a leader in the energy sector, is seeking a Field Service Technician to join their team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be part of a dynamic team supporting essential service operations. Job Title: Field Service Technician

Location: West Jordan, Utah

Pay Range: $28/hr.

What's the Job?

  • Provide fuel cell service during field visit dispatches.
  • Operate a service vehicle safely and efficiently.
  • Create daily workflows from a list of scheduled tasks and work autonomously.
  • Manage on-site preventative maintenance, repair, testing, and diagnostic tasks.
  • Diagnose technical problems and implement effective solutions.

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma with 6 years of experience in electrical, process controls, or electro-mechanical fields; or a technical diploma with relevant industry experience of 4 years.
  • Strong electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Familiarity with safety standards related to electrical work (OSHA & NFPA 70E).
  • Experience with three-phase systems, electrical generation, and distribution systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical single line diagrams and blueprints.

Job Duties

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair Crown and all other makes of lift trucks.
  • Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer lift trucks.
  • Maintain a service van and its inventory.
  • Process paperwork after completion of each job.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Less than 2 years related experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics and internal combustion engines, and the ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
  • Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills.
  • Technical degree, previous lift truck repair, welding experience, and knowledge of various types of testing equipment preferred.
  • Familiar with tools and equipment such as common hand tools, electrical/air tools, torch, arc welder and various types of testing equipment.
  • Industry related training is preferred
  • Ability to read and understand service manuals, plan, and follow-through
