**Job Responsibilities**
+ Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining all dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, equipment, and kitchen utensils are cleaned and sanitized
+ Maintains dishwashing station, three compartment sink and related areas cleaned
+ Ensures equipment is clean and in working condition; reports any issues to management
+ Performs other light maintenance and custodial tasks
+ Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guest, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
+ Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation
+ Ensures security of company assets

Position Title: Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

Location: Bethesda, MD

Position Status: Full Time

Pay Rate: $29/hour

Position Description:
Seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform general facility maintenance and equipment repair in a professional, safe, and efficient manner. This role requires a U.S. Citizen with a valid driver's license and at least four years of facilities maintenance experience. The ideal candidate is adaptable, customer-focused, and proficient across multiple maintenance disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems.

Schedule Options:

1st Option - Sunday-Thursday

• 12:00 PM - 10:30 PM (4 days - Thursday, Friday, Saturday off)
• 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM (5 days - Friday, Saturday off)

2nd Option - Tuesday-Saturday

• 12:00 PM - 10:30 PM (4 days - Sunday, Monday, Tuesday off)
• 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM (5 days - Sunday, Monday off)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Follow all safety guidelines, including OSHA regulations, lock-out/tag-out procedures, and company safety policies.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment independently or as part of a team.
• Perform repairs on walls, floors, and doors, including painting and touch-up work.
• Maintain and repair plumbing fixtures, valves, automatic flush sensors, and related systems.
• Operate, maintain, and repair air handling equipment, including vent fans and circulation fans.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and diagnose malfunctions in general facility systems, including electrical components (lights, receptacles, ballast, controls), plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC.
• Monitor building automation systems to ensure equipment performance and temperature control.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, keeping them informed of work status and completion timelines.
• Coordinate maintenance projects, including complex repairs and subcontractor oversight.
• Perform other duties as assigned by site leadership.

Required Skills/Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or undergraduate coursework preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of maintenance experience involving mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including report writing and email correspondence.
• Proficiency in using work order systems, building automation software, and basic office technology (PC, cell phone, tablet).
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
• Ability to disassemble/reassemble fixtures, fans, pumps, HVAC units, and other building systems.
• Understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, life safety systems, and building envelope components.
• Forklift, scissor lift, and aerial lift operation skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, adaptability to changing priorities, and commitment to high-quality work.
• Ability to work non-standard schedules, including weekends, if required.
• Basic math skills, including geometry and algebra.
