This role involves leading inventory management projects, forecasting demand, and engaging in cross-functional projects to support the business objectives.
Responsibilities
+ Run scenarios in Demand Planning systems to propose and launch new inventory management strategies.
+ Manage projects aimed at reducing service level failures, such as drop shipment analysis.
+ Lead inventory management projects in collaboration with research laboratories.
+ Track metrics for service level, total inventory value, number of parts, and forecast accuracy.
+ Optimize inventory in distribution centers to support customer service objectives globally.
+ Forecast demand for spare parts and participate in cross-functional meetings related to Demand Planning.
+ Manage target stock level overrides, validate and adjust forecast parameters.
+ Review and manage business rules and network segments related to Demand Planning.
+ Oversee spares provisioning for new aircraft models.
+ Engage in Business Information systems implementation, such as SAP and SPM.
+ Participate in cross-functional projects, including warranty inventory process and operations projects.
+ Monitor retrofit programs progress and coordinate inventory needs with relevant teams.

Essential Skills
+ Expertise in SAP and supply chain processes.
+ Experience in ERP systems.
+ Five years of material planning experience, with at least two years in an aviation-related industry using automated inventory management systems.
+ Proven project management and leadership skills.
+ Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
+ Expert level proficiency in Excel, Access, or equivalent tools.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Provides operations support to management. This position is accountable to prepare accurate, complete and timely information pertaining to the operations department. The Supply Chain Coordinator is expected to proactively identify and bring to the attention of the Operations Manager and/or Branch Manager any issues that may have a potential impact on customer order fulfillment and the fleet balance both in the yard and on site.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Special duties as requested by Operations Manager and/or Branch Manager.
+ Assists the drivers when they check in at Operations window and coordinate orders with yard personnel.
+ Process and receive transfers from and to other locations.
+ Prepare customs requests, including article numbers, descriptions, cost, weight, composition and Country of Origin using Profield, and Brand On-Line to obtain information.
+ Solicit and obtain freight quotations and arrange freight for transfers or vendor movement. Provide Bill of Lading.
+ Direct and respond to CSR inquiries in regard to order fulfilment and order status.
+ Coordinate all of Aluma driver's movements on a daily basis, outsource cartage when required.
+ Assists in creating and fulfilling stock transfer orders.
+ Verifies goods receipt and verifies invoices and updates in Profield.
+ Enters picked quantities into delivery documents (ship and return).
+ Verifies goods issued and goods received (shipping and receiving).
+ At the request of the Operations Manager, may source equipment from within the company.
+ Solicit multiple freight quotes and arrange freight services to manage shipping and receiving expenses.
+ Creates material movement transactions (re: assembly, disassembly, repair, damage).
+ Should possess a good working knowledge of Inventory Control and Excel.
