Description

Ascentec Engineering is hiring! We are looking for a Senior Supply Chain Analyst to join our team in Tualatin, Oregon. The selected candidate will gather and analyze data to develop insights for the optimization of Ascentec's supply chain operations. In addition, they will identify underperforming areas in the supply chain by analyzing costs, capacity, and demand patterns. They will continuously review the movement of materials and other supply chain processes to identify sources of issues and develop solutions to resolve.

This position is on-site (not remote/not hybrid) at our Tualatin headquarters and is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.

Requirements

Job Responsibilities: Include, but not limited to:

  1. Analyze data to identify problematic areas of supply chain operations to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  2. Prepare reports or dashboards to provide reliable operations activity data to key stakeholders.
  3. Monitor suppliers for stocking agreement or service level compliance.
  4. Assist in the negotiation of contracts or service agreements.
  5. Create/maintain Supply Chain Standards, Operating Procedures, and Lead indicators.
  6. Use data to help identify and drive performance improvements by utilizing continuous improvement methodologies.
  7. Enable the information flow needed to manage the global sourcing process requiring coordination of multiple workgroups.
  8. Lead projects, linking data to project steps to business strategies. Ensures plans and supports business needs, goals, and deadlines.
  9. Present project recommendations to appropriate personnel that demonstrate sound planning in support of business needs.
  10. Handle a variety of routine, non-routine, and difficult inquiries where the solution may not be immediately apparent.
  11. Analyze the efficiency of the movement of materials and products within and outside the company; recommend changes; conduct supply chain, inventory, etc. analyses and provide recommendations and actions.
  12. Identify and initiate innovations and solutions utilizing Epicor ERP where precedents and procedures may not exist. Work cross-functionally to resolve problems and implement changes.
  13. Education:
  1. Bachelors Degree or Associate's Degree in logistics and supply management or related field preferred. Experience will be considered in lieu of education.
Job Qualifications / Experience and Technical Skills:
  1. 3-5 years experience in a supply chain management role or related position.
  2. 1-3 years demonstrated experience with an ERP system.
  3. Proven knowledge of inventory management practices and supplier contract compliance.
  4. Proficient in the use of data analysis tools used in the industry.
  5. Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
  6. Working knowledge of data analysis and forecasting tools and ability to develop actionable insights from data.
  7. Understand data analysis and interpretation and know how to extract actionable insights from the information.
  8. Interpersonal skills and ability to build and improve trusting relationships.
  9. General Data Analysis Software/Supply Chain planning software.
  10. Experience using procurement software Epicor highly preferred.
  11. Proficient in spreadsheet applications, SQL analysis tools, and mathematical analysis.
  12. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other technical software as it relates to the position.
Compensation / Benefits:

$80,000 to $110,000 per year DOE
