- Develop storage solutions for new assets
- Conduct transportation planning and analysis, including working with field staff to establish cost efficient transportation
- Coordinate and dispatch transportation for Customer event assets and point of service infrastructure
- Coordinate on-site event staff, ensuring events are set up and taken down as required
- Maintain database of event details, providing reports as needed
- Assist management in identifying and documenting process and program improvements
- Occasionally required to work off-site in another company warehouse
- Other duties as required and assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalent
- Minimum 6 months relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in event coordinating preferred
- PC proficiency to include Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Outlook; highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to multi-task in a fast pace and demanding environment
- Excellent problem solving, analytical, and organizational skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage own work

Responsibilities:
- Schedule and coordinate shipments, ensuring efficient routing, timely delivery, and system updates.
- Communicate with carriers and vendors to confirm availability, negotiate rates, and resolve logistical concerns.
- Provide shipment updates to customers and internal teams, ensuring alignment and transparency.
- Maintain accurate shipping documentation, including invoices and bills of lading, and use logistics software for tracking and reporting.
- Identify and address shipment delays, escalating major issues when necessary.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to resolve logistics challenges such as miscommunications, missed deadlines, or carrier issues.

Essential Functions:
- The Coordinator makes the necessary arrangements for the distribution of finish goods to satisfy our customer requirements in a timely manner.
- Work closely with customer service to ensure all company standard service levels.
- Ensure freight cost are in line with company goals.
- Assists in Freight negotiation to or from the outside warehouses.
- Coordinates shipments daily: scheduling, preparing schedule, invoice orders.
- Prepares daily shipping documents.
- Monitors statistics pertinent to department productivity and service standards (truck log).
- Generates and distribute reports as needed.
- Ensures company order lead time is upheld.
- Serves as a liaison with transportation companies and warehouse on a daily basis.
- Works with limited supervision, however must adhere to established standards for protocol, as determined by company policy.
- Reconciles pallets and preparing billing paperwork for accounting (daily).
- Confirms freight rates with existing approved freight carriers.
- Investigates and settles freight/short shipment claims.
