Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the following. Other duties will likely be assigned. Manage the entire supply chain process from procurement to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. Review orders for accuracy and ensure timely shipments while identifying and rectifying shipping errors. Provide order delivery time estimates and respond to client inquiries, including after-hours and weekend requests. Continuously seek ways to enhance supply chain efficiency and improve customer satisfaction. Analyze logistics data, create corrective action plans, and suggest improvements for operational efficiency. Collaborate with carriers and production teams to ensure seamless operations. Maintain organized logs and records, ensuring accessibility and accuracy. Monitor shipment costs and collect information necessary to calculate freight expenses (including orders, rates, BOL, POD, etc.). Reconcile paperwork, obtain accurate proof of deliveries, and manage invoice entry within deadlines. Investigate incomplete invoices and reports to gather necessary data. Issue detention charges and maintain accurate customer records. Adhere to safety standards, regulations, and company policies at all times. Plan and track final shipments, including costs and timelines, according to customer requests. Make special shipping arrangements as necessary to accommodate unique client needs. Primary Responsibilities:
Process sample requisitions, inter-company transfers, transfers from outside storage locations for production packaging supplies and raw materials, and other small packages for shipment.
Communicate inventory updates to warehouse personnel to inform the shipping and receiving team and operations planning team.
Work closely with the Inventory Control and Transportation to ensure load accuracy and completion. Manage daily flow of all jockey service, live drivers for outside storage warehouse loads/unloads, and dock schedule.
Checking inbound and outbound loads. Work with the crew to assign daily workflow for outbound and inbound trailers and work in EWM to enter data and block/unblock bins as needed.
Complete assigned projects while maintaining accurate and up-to-date inventory records, ensuring efficient operations and effective resource management within the organization.
Work safely at all times and follow all safety policies and procedures.
