About the Role
How you will contribute
- Support Data Center Operations including but not limited to receiving, storing, and shipping material.
- Handle customer queries, escalations & a large volume of day to day reports through the life cycle of customer orders.
- Build a close working relationship with the FTEs through understanding their day to day business requirements and servicing accordingly.
- Ensure customer & carrier performance reports are completed weekly/monthly and submitted on time and with accurate content.
- Maintain accurate records and metrics, perform audits as necessary.
- Identify, document, and implement Opportunity For Improvements (OFI)
- Apply scheduling, planning, and coordination activity to support product inbound and outbound operations.
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of all operating systems pertaining to work area.
- Ability to communicate both internally and externally with the customers and stakeholders.
- Process order set up via preferred internal system to include but not limited to EDI feeds or manual creation.
- Ensure orders are picked and processed timely to meet KPI requirements and help monitor and ensure proper inventory levels per customer expectations.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Review open tasks and provide updates as needed

+ - Communicate with customers to monitor inventories and anticipate their production needs and to schedule all necessary equipment to move waste by-products.- Arrange and negotiate third-party freight costs, when needed, for timely servicing of all customers waste by-product pick-ups by using WM approved carriers.- Monitor and maintain shipment status via computer system.- Respond to customer complaints in a timely manner. Investigate and solve issues with shipments for both vendors and customers.- Initiate calls to customers to set up deliveries, advise shipment delays and/or information necessary to set up deliveries. Initiate traces with carriers and railroads for proof of deliveries when needed.- Review pricing with the Sales and Marketing groups.- Develop interactive relationships with vendors, customers and outside freight carriers.- Responsible for all necessary documentation for all shipments, which can include export documentation to overseas mills.- Initiate calls to customers to ensure timely and accurate invoicing. Record and prepare vendor payments in accordance with contracted terms. Ensure proper billing of freight and special charges. Issue debits and credits as necessary.- Resolve downgrades and rejects of waste material by dealing directly with the customer and the vendor. Training & Advancement
Those pursuing a Supply Corps Officer position are required to attend Officer Candidate School (OCS) in Newport, RI. Here they learn about the military structure of the U.S. Navy, its rich history of traditions and customs, leadership development and military etiquette.
Once that training is complete, you will learn the ins and outs of life as a Supply Corps Officer through the following specialized training programs:
Navy Supply School (27 weeks) in Newport, RI, for training in inventory management, food and retail operations, leadership, management and problem solving.
Advanced Training
Advanced training for prospective Supply Corps Officers may also be available. This specialized training may cover subjects including transportation management, freight classifications, methods of working with civilian carriers and special handling of medical goods and explosives.
Promotion opportunities are regularly available but competitive and based on performance.
Post-Service Opportunities

Part-Time Opportunities
Serving part-time in the Navy Reserve, your duties will be carried out during your scheduled drilling and training periods. Education and Experience:
Must have the following education and experience:
- Master's or Doctorate Degree in a related field and ten (10) years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, five (5) of which must be in the DoD.
- Or Bachelor's Degree in a related field and twelve (12) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five (5) of which must be in the DoD.
- Or fifteen (15) years of directly related experience, eight (8) of which must be in the DoD.

The Air Force Program Execution Office for PEO Digital (AFPEO/HB) has the collective Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) mission responsibility to manage and execute the modernization, development, testing, production, fielding, and sustainment of the PEO Digital portfolio, which includes over 130 programs for the United States Air Force (USAF) and foreign allies.

Responsibilities:
- Identify the specific requirements for money, manpower, materiel, facilities, and services needed to support the program; and correlating those requirements with program plans to assure that the needed support is provided at the right time and place.
- Collaborate with material support managers and product support manager to maintain comprehensive support plans (including sister service and coalition service coordination)
- Participate in the development of maintenance and life cycle logistics plans to ensure smooth product transition to air logistics complex centers.
- Develop and executes logistics and sustainment plans.
- Identify and help mitigate sustainment problem areas, specifically on CDA.
- Coordinate and evaluate the efforts of functional specialists to identify specific requirements and to develop and adjust plans and schedules for the actions needed to meet each requirement on time
- Provide logistics analytical support for key logistics metrics, including but not limited to supply, reliability, maintainability, and provide them in key logistics reviews.
- Assist with planning, evaluation and implementation of program acquisition and sustainment strategies to meet DoD 5000.2 guidance.
- Develop program management documentation to support all phases of the acquisition and sustainment life cycle.
- Develop briefings to support acquisition decision milestones and sustainment planning efforts.
- Develop logistics planning documents to include, but not limited to, Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSPs), weapon system delivery and deployment plans (integrated and optimized across Developmental System Manager (DSM) production and delivery schedules and System Program Manager (SPM)/Depot induction/modification plans and schedules), Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSPs), Product Support Business Case Analyses, Depot Source of Repair (DSOR)/ Source of Repair Assignment (SORA) packages, and Diminishing Manufacturing Sources plans, including research and identification of alternative components where required; employ supply chain, program dashboards and other state of art data analysis to ensure necessary level of asset visibility; provide other logistics studies, analyses, and reports as required.
- Support development of system technical trade studies and other documentation for integration, upgrade, and modification efforts; aircraft integration may be included.
- Provide independent analysis of system readiness for production and risk management purposes.
- Support other engineering studies, analyses, and other engineering studies, analyses, and reports as required.
