**JOB SUMMARY:**
Primary function of the Logistics Planner is to support Sysco Site and Inbound Supply Chain Organization objectives by coordinating activities related to moving products from supplier locations to Sysco facilities. **Warehouse Logistics Associate**
**Location** : North Houston, TX (near George Bush Airport)
**Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility** **:**
The Warehouse Logistics Associate is responsible for managing and coordinating the shipment of ATMs. This role involves ensuring efficient operations, maintaining accurate inventory records, and supporting the overall logistics process.
Key Areas of Responsibilities:
+ **Inspecting Shipments:** Prepare and label ATM shipments. Inspect products for damages and discrepancies.
+ **Inventory Management:** Maintain accurate inventory levels by tracking incoming and outgoing products, conducting regular audits, and resolving discrepancies.
+ **Order Fulfillment:** Process, pack, and prepare orders for shipment. Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
+ **Warehouse Organization:** Organize and maintain the warehouse layout to optimize space and efficiency. Ensure the warehouse is clean and safe.
+ **Documentation:** Prepare and maintain accurate reports, invoices, and other documentation related to inventory and deliveries.
+ **Compliance:** Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Participate in safety training and adhere to safety protocols.
+ **Basic Qualifications:**
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ Previous experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or inventory management is beneficial.
+ Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in logistics software and inventory management systems.
+ Ability to lift or move heavy products (up to 70 lbs.) and operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, customers, and team members.
+ Ability to resolve issues related to logistics and inventory management efficiently.
