This role is responsible for improving productivity, quality, and cost of supply chain network strategy through advanced data analysis, process optimization, and technology adoption. The position supports the design and implementation of future-state supply chain systems across a regional network of distribution centers, with a focus on SKU-level analysis, network design, and customer-centric delivery models. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in SQL, Python, Snowflake, and Tableau, and play a key role in driving transformative initiatives that reduce supply chain costs and improve operational efficiency.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
- Perform data management using Snowflake, SQL (including CTEs, LEAD/LAG, and complex joins), and Python
- Analyze operational and supply chain data at the SKU level to identify inefficiencies and recommend optimization strategies.
- Support the design and implementation of hub-and-spoke distribution networks and inbound-focused DC operations.
- Develop and maintain pipeline visualizations in Tableau and automation workflows in Python.
- Collaborate cross-functionally and with third-party consultants to drive technology transformation initiatives.
- Generate actionable insights to drive data cleanup, process improvement, compliance, and technology adoption
- Create decision support tools and financial models to evaluate cost/benefit tradeoffs of proposed solutions.
- Document business requirements, system designs, and process flows to support scalable implementation.
- Provide training and support to internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful adoption and sustainability of new systems.

Education and Experience

- Familiarity with mapping tools and geospatial analysis (e.g., buffer zones around buildings) is beneficial.
