- Education:
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 2-5 years of experience in Logistics/Supply Chain, preferably in structured cabling or construction.
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience, with the ability to prioritize and manage the work of others.
- Skills:
- Strong data analysis and calculation skills for informed decision-making.
- Ability to develop and implement standard operating procedures for effective logistics operations.
- Proven performance management and coaching skills.
- Solid understanding of safety protocols and continuous improvement methodologies.
- High attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The standard work environment for this position is an indoors business office and construction environment. Ability to use a computer and/or hand tools while sitting or standing for extended periods of time. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk or hear, use hands, stoop, kneel, bend, rotate, push, pull, reach with hands and arms on intermittent to regular basis daily. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee must regularly carry and climb ladders to 20 feet. The employee may be required to work in tight, confided spaces. The employee must demonstrate regular and on-time attendance. There could be a requirement of occasional travel by conventional means including aircraft, motor vehicle and the like within the region and to other locations as required. + Preparing orders by processing requests and supply orders, pulling materials, packing boxes, and placing orders in delivery area.
+ Maintaining inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests.
+ Maintaining quality service by following organization standards.
+ Maintaining a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat, and maintaining a clean shipping supply area. Complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
+ Completing reports by entering required information.

• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required.
