**Scope of Role:** Manages and controls processes of material movement through the facility from receiving, storage, pulling, and shipping product to customers in a complete and accurate time frame. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES:**
+ Manages receipt of all raw material and outside processed parts.
+ Responsible for sound management of raw material and finished good inventory. Manages manpower to supply production areas with necessary parts to build product.

+ Enforces procedures and guidelines pertaining to the receipt of hazardous materials.

+ Must have strong ability to lead others, and enforce work rules in a fair and ethical manner.
+ Responsible maintaining and enforcing DOT Regulations for GAST Truck and Drivers.

SCOPE OF POSITION:
The plant Logistics Supervisor will oversee the logistics and warehousing operations at our Fairport, NY plant. This includes managing shipping, receiving, and storeroom functions while driving improvements in efficiency, cost control, quality, and service. The role also emphasizes staff development, process optimization, systems improvement, adherence to standards, and safety compliance. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with corporate functions to support and govern third-party services, contracts, and rate performance.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ **Team Leadership:** Manage and lead the logistics team to meet both tactical and strategic objectives, with a focus on performance, cost, quality, service, and fostering a positive team culture.
+ **Supervision:** Provide direct supervisory oversight for logistics associates and materials control coordinators.
+ **Continuous Improvement:** Drive ongoing improvements in logistics processes, warehouse labor productivity, and space utilization.
+ **Shipping Accuracy:** Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of domestic and international customer shipments, minimizing complaints and quality issues.
+ **Compliance:** Act as the site lead to ensure compliance with global trade requirements, including reporting as necessary.
+ **Problem Resolution:** Manage root cause analysis and corrective actions for customer complaints and process defects. Standard Operating Procedures: Develop, implement, and audit standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure team compliance.
+ **Performance Metrics:** Establish and monitor logistics spend and performance metrics, reporting regularly on progress.
+ **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Work closely with supply chain, operations, and commercial teams to align logistics requirements with plant and customer needs.
+ **Order Management:** Oversee the daily prioritization of replenishment orders and stock put-away. Inventory Control: Own the plant-wide cycle counting processes and coordinate full physical inventory counts as needed.
+ **Safety:** Ensure safe work practices and procedures are in place and consistently followed. Operational Support: Coordinate logistics support for plant operations, including during shifts and weekends, as required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
+ Bachelor degree in supply chain, logistics, business administration or related field
+ Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, warehousing or operations
+ Proficiency in logistics and warehouse management systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
+ Solid understanding of domestic and international shipping regulations, customs, and trade compliance requirements.
+ Knowledge of inventory management processes, including cycle counting and physical inventory audits.
+ Familiarity with lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
+ Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams in a collaborative environment.
DESIRED SKILLS:
+ Advanced degree or certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
+ Certified Logistics Professional (CLP)
+ Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing

The range for this position is $92,092.00 - $126,627.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.

Essential Functions:
- Lead IFA, NA safety initiatives with all associates within assigned area of responsibility
- Supervises the daily activities for all Logistics operations and associates to include development, coaching, counseling, evaluating performance, managing team schedules, timecard approvals
- Assist in planning and coordinating all activities in shipping, receiving, picking, and line side delivery to ensure production goals are achieved
- Interpret and administer company policies to workforce and enforces safety regulations
- Train all associates to documented standard work instructions Conduct routine audits ensuring standard work instructions are followed
- Communicate information related to safety, quality, production, and logistics to incoming shift supervisor and/or coordinator
- Keeps management informed of progress, developments, and pending problems within the Logistics Department
- Interface with internal and external customers, to support the company's goals and objectives
- Utilize SAP to track and review order status, fulfillment requirements and inventory levels
- Coordinate deliveries with customers and transportation and resolve any issues with customers or suppliers
- Perform routine daily physical audits and systematical audits using SAP of all materials and finished goods onsite
- Verify all customer orders are loaded, shipped and delivered in accordance with customer specifications
- Process shipping notices (ASN) within 30 minutes of product shipment
- Review and verify purchase orders against shipments received from vendors
- Consistently works on continuous improvement processes to include recommending measures to improve working conditions to increase efficiency and quality of facility, equipment, processes, or worker performance standards
- Supports lean manufacturing practices such as 5S, KanBan, visual management, 1-piece flow, etc
- Complies with IATF 16949, ISO , and customer requirements
- Complies with organizational policies and procedures
- Performs all other duties as assigned

**Job Summary:**
This Support Services Supervisor supervises employees of Pre-Analytical, Front-End Systems. The role is responsible for implementing and overseeing Front-End workflow processes and workstream optimization and managing personnel metrics and production metrics to ensure the discipline meets and sustains established Turn-Around-Times and Quality performance metrics. This role will serve as a Resource across geographies, including FES Consolidated Accessioning locations. **Functional Responsibilities:**

+ Act as a liaison with other departments and customers on extended inquiries, Client Concerns investigation(s) and accountability response(s).
+ Trains new and existing staff on both general and specific task procedures. Assess employee work performance.
+ Advise management of problem areas

**Minimum Education and Experience Required:**
Requires an associate degree w/ minimum 3 years of experience in a related field. Valid driver's license along with a clean driving record. Familiarity with laboratory operations as well as policies and procedures are preferred. 2 years of Supervisory experience preferred.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
Prior Clinical laboratory knowledge through relevant work experience preferably in a role of progression or increased responsibility.
