Requirements
+ High School Diploma with a minimum of 2+ years experience in Logistics, Materials Management or Physical Distribution required.

+ Working knowledge of warehouse and/or software applications. Oracle Preferred.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.

**Compensation and Benefits**
The salary range for this position is $17.12 - $24.03 per hour.
This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents.

Job Summary
The Logistics Support role is responsible for coordinating and optimizing the flow of materials, supplies, gas cylinders, parts, and assemblies, while establishing and communicating deadlines for deliverables. Roles and Responsibilities
+ Manage daily logistics operations in the Engineering Test Services Supply Crib, including inventory control, order fulfillment, and distribution.
+ Review inventory records to ensure accuracy and completeness of product adjustments.
+ Verify incoming products and quantities against packing slips.
+ Log received products into the system and place them in designated storage locations.
+ Fulfill orders and back orders by picking items from pick tickets and distributing them throughout the site.
+ Operate material handling equipment safely, including pallet jacks, forklifts, and electric carts.
+ Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE when handling chemical supplies, gas cylinders, and drums.
+ Lift up to 35 lbs. independently as required.
Basic Qualifications
+ Must be a US Citizen.
+ High school diploma or equivalent, plus a minimum of one year of relevant experience.
+ Must be able to obtain NPMA certification within one year of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience in stockroom and supply inventory control and management.

Summary

You will play a crucial role in managing the flow of goods, services, and information to ensure timely and compliant delivery to customers.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough system fault analysis and implement effective life cycle maintenance to ensure the reliability and readiness of transportation assets.
  • Assist in integrated product support (IPS) activities for transportation systems and related equipment.
  • Oversee the movement of goods, services, and information from origin to delivery, meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Perform DOT-compliant vehicle pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate driving records.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all DOT regulations and safety standards.
  • Monitor and manage transportation-related data to enhance logistics performance and reporting accuracy.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative logistics process improvements.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners to coordinate transportation schedules and services.
  • Assist in documenting and reporting on transportation and maintenance activities.
  • Proactively respond to and resolve transportation issues to maintain an uninterrupted flow of materials and services.

Basic Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI w/ Poly Clearance is required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in logistics, supply chain, maintenance operations, or related fields.
  • Basic understanding of system fault analysis and integrated product support (IPS) methodologies.
  • Familiarity with logistics functions such as transportation, inventory, warehousing, and order processing.
  • Proficient in using logistics systems and databases to efficiently track and manage materials and services.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capable of working independently under limited supervision.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail for accuracy in data collection and process execution.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or technical certification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Maintenance Management, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in life cycle maintenance or IPS activities for large or complex systems.
  • Proficiency in logistics or supply chain software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Maximo).
  • Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Experience in government, defense, or regulated industry environments.
  • Awareness of Department of Transportation (DOT) standards and safety compliance practices.
  • Ability to support cross-functional teams and adapt to changing priorities.

Job Description

Interco has an opening for a Logistics Support Specialist in the company's Logistics department. The Logistics Support Specialist will assist the Logistics Coordinators with booking domestic inbound freight.

The right candidate will be interested in the fast-paced world of logistics and global supply chain with a keen interest in moving up in the company's Logistics department. The Logistics Support Specialist is responsible for entering data into the company's TMS, taking direction from senior logistics team members, and following direction as needed.

Qualifications

  • Communicate with carriers
  • Book loads
  • Schedule deliveries
  • Enter and manage data in the Interco TMS, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Monitor and follow up on orders, track progress and update files as needed

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in logistics is a plus

The Logistics Support Specialist is responsible for facilitating the planning, execution, and completion of projects by meeting critical operational needs. This includes booking travel, ensuring site access, and managing fleet maintenance.   • Book travel accommodations for APMs field team and cancel/re-book as schedule changes necessitate.
