Huntsman is seeking a Supply Chain Manager supporting the Polyurethanes Supply Chain Division located in Mexico City . This position will report to the Director of Supply Chain.
Job Scope
This position exists to ensure proper leadership of all Polyurethanes Division Supply Chain activities in Mexico and Colombia. The incumbent will ensure full alignment with all Corporate Purchasing and Supply Chain/Logistics requirements and alignment with the Americas Regional business and Global Supply Chain strategies.
The incumbent will be responsible for the management of our supply chain within Mexico and Cartagenas site, working in close collaboration with the broader Americas Regional Supply Chain Leadership Team to ensure customer activities are consistent with regional business and global supply chain strategies. The incumbent will also work very closely with the Commercial teams in both countries and the Shared Service functions (based in The Woodlands, TX San Jos, Costa Rica) to ensure full alignment within Mexico and Colombia.
As the Supply Chain Manager, you will ensure the execution of the following activities for both sites MX &CO:
Summary
In summary, as the Supply Chain Manager, you will:
- Work closely with the Customer Service team in Costa Rica in order to meet the demand of the Polyurethanes (PU) Division (~100 active accounts with ~230 orders/month) and Performance Products (PP) Division (~79 active accounts with ~120 orders/month) in the region.
- Effectively manage the PU Division (53 MMlbs of sales with a local inventory of 4.5 MMlbs stored in four warehouses), PP Division (20 MMlbs of sales with a local inventory of 1 MMlbs stored in two third party warehouses) supply chain in Mexico and PU Division (8MMlbs of sales and local inventory of 3MMlbs in Cartagenas site) in Colombia.
- Effectively manage the PU Division Logistics capability (transfers of material into the Country from Geismar, LA USA manufacturing, as well as other locations, such as Mississauga, ON Canada, and transfers of materials to local customers).
- Manage the tote and drum blending for Mexico, with Production of ~65 tons/month of polyol blends and repackaging.
- Manage the exports of finished goods from Cartagena, Colombia to customers in South and Central America such as Guatemala, Chile, Argentina, Venezuela, etc.
- Tours in EHS focus.
- Support and ensure compliance in safety activities such as review, and approval of work permits for contractors supervision of on-site work performed by both contractors and Huntsman associates.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in Mexico .
Minimum Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in a supply chain, technical, or business discipline with a minimum of 8 years of industry experience.
- A minimum of five years of appropriate managerial/supervisory experience is required.
- Leadership in the storage operation, customers and carriers.
- The incumbent must be fully bilingual (Spanish and English).
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills in both languages are required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of import/export, transportation, and trade regulations within Mexico is essential. Expertise in Mexico and Colombia's economy and business-related policies is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a pleasant and professional demeanor, even under times of stress, is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to properly safeguard confidential and sensitive information (pricing, salary actions, organizational changes, etc.) is essential.
- The position holds a mixture of direct and indirect accountabilities, so the ability to work in a collaborative nature within a matrix organization is essential.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects at once and work under pressure.
- Physical demands: Office work, some lifting, considerable walking.
- Advanced education (MS, MBA) and APICS certification (CPIM/CIRM) are desirable.
- Completed career: Industrial Engineering, Logistics, International.
- Relations Bachelor of the administrative or related branch.

About the role:
To manage Supply Chain operations in the US - across all brands / products within the HeliosX US operating entities. The role will be responsible for the execution of procurement plans, supplier sourcing, inbound and outbound activity, inventory balances and supplier performance.

- You have previous experience of creating, developing and embedding S&OP processes / tools.
- You have a full understanding of the S&OP process and how key stakeholders input to the process
- You have start-up / scale-up experience, demonstrating working in high growth operations with both scale and complexity
- You pay rigorous attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
- You show a proven ability to work independently with a high degree of accountability, while also being able to collaborate cross-functionally

The Role
As a Global Supply Manager (GSM), you will oversee and optimize the end-to-end supply chain operations supporting the manufacturing and assembly of electric-mechanical assemblies. Your responsibilities will include managing suppliers, coordinating logistics, optimizing inventory, and ensuring that the supply chain runs efficiently and cost-effectively to meet business objectives. Oversee global logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, ensuring timely delivery while minimizing costs and risks. - Inventory Management:
Monitor and optimize global inventory levels, ensuring the right balance between availability and cost. - Risk Management:
Identify potential supply chain risks (e.g., geopolitical, environmental, and economic) and develop contingency plans to mitigate these risks. - Collaboration & Communication:
Liaise with cross-functional teams including procurement, production, engineering, and customer service to align supply chain activities with overall company objectives. - Process Optimization:
Implement best practices, continuous improvement initiatives, and supply chain technologies to streamline processes and increase operational efficiency. Manage and ensure proper BOM implementation from Engineering teams for final material release. Manage release levels and follow Engineering Change Management (ECOP) process ensuring proper material is available per agreed schedules. - Compliance Sustainability:
Ensure all supply chain activities comply with international regulations and sustainability standards. - Data Analysis & Reporting:
Use data analytics to forecast demand, monitor supply chain performance, and provide regular reports to senior management. Work with Production Scheduling and Planning teams ensuring material availability and report any and all shortages with defined mitigations. - Travel:
As required, based on need to visit the supply base and confirm capabilities, problem-solving, and evaluations. All travel is approved by leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a global role.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes including procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
- Proven experience in supplier negotiations, contract management, and risk mitigation.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software (e.g., Netsuite, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across different cultures and geographies.
- Understanding of global trade regulations, compliance, and sustainability practices.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Experience working with new product introductions, transitioning custom electromechanical designs from Engineering prototypes to production.
- Hands-on experience in any of the following: electrical engineering, PCBA sourcing, mechanical development, manufacturing practices/techniques involving CNC Machined parts, sheet metal, anodized aluminum, enclosures, jigs, tooling, and fixtures.
- Proven track record of negotiating pricing, cost reductions, RFQs, benchmarking and cost modeling.
- Ability to understand Engineering and Design direction and provide focused supply-chain solutions.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in manufacturing, retail, or FMCG sectors.
- Knowledge of lean management or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Experience in managing supply chains in emerging markets.
- Fluency in multiple languages is a plus.

- Work is performed on a computer and requires ability to operate a keyboard and other peripheral devices. Must be comfortable in a manufacturing environment. This role will also require up to 10% travel annually, domestic and international.

**Responsibilities:**

+ Lead the implementation of Disney's Higg FEM strategy, overseeing the annual rollout, ensuring data integrity, driving supplier engagement, and advancing continuous improvement initiatives.
+ Conduct in-depth analysis of Higg FEM data, validating accuracy, identifying environmental performance gaps, and leveraging insights to support GHG emissions reduction in alignment with The Walt Disney Company's Scope 3 goals.

+ Manage communications with vendors, including email campaigns, training materials, guidance documents, and targeted outreach.

+ Create and deliver presentations to internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, leadership teams, and cross-functional partners.
+ Conduct factory visits to assess environmental performance, provide technical guidance, and support suppliers in improving their practices.
+ Participate in regular training sessions to stay informed about the latest developments in the Higg FEM.

**Qualifications and Skills:**

+ 5-8 years of relevant professional experience in sustainability, environmental data management, supply chain, or related fields.

**The role you'll contribute:**
The Supply Chain Operations Manager oversees the PAR Administration team that is responsible for optimizing inventory locations at hospitals and Off-Site Emergency Departments for all central Florida. This team also coordinates and executes product conversions for central Florida, maintains PAR inventory locations in ERP, and is the technical resource owner for the PAREx inventory management system. This position will oversee team members that are often working remotely at AdventHealth facilities and will only occasionally be in the office which this role will be based.
