**The Opportunity:**
This position provides technical supply support to the C5ISR Engineering and Systems Integration Directorate (ESID) division Property Book Office, Aberdeen Proving Ground MD. The individual will be working on a government site with the
customer and associated contractors as part of the C5ISR ESI division
equipment management team, Property Book Office (PBO), and Warehouse, supporting supply, equipment, and property operations. This position requires knowledge of Army supply operations with knowledge of established supply policies, procedures, and regulations, or procedures.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Management of complex high-visibility hand receipts, from acquisition to disposal using Global Combat Support system- Army (GCSS-A).
+ Responsible for 100% property accountability to meet ever-changing equipment requirements in high-demand work environments
+ Perform annual reconciliation with the Property Book Office with GCSS-A, DPAS and in-house inventory tracking system
+ Performs planning, scheduling, and coordination for the movement of materials and equipment to support logistics requirements at a remote or overseas facility.
+ Interfaces with vendors for procurement, shipping specifics, tracking, and
+ delivery of parts and equipment.
+ Maintains a government Secure Facilities Property Control System, or similar systems, to satisfy customer requirements.
+ Identify and process corrective actions to deficiencies found in property accountability and TDA
+ Update as necessary Government property book databases such as: GCSS-A, Army Enterprise systems Integration
+ Program (AESIP), and Decision Support tool (DST), Force Management System (FMSWeb).
+ Knowledge and familiarity to put into practice the following Army Regulations and Technical Bulletins: AR 710-2, Supply
+ Policy Below the National Level; AR735-5, Property Accountability Policies; AR71-32, Force Development and Documentation
+ Conduct annual inventory of Government equipment located at the C5ISR ESI division and its subordinate branches' facilities, warehouses, offices, laboratories, and/or at contractor facilities.
+ Complete using the scanners and ASTS to verify that all equipment from each SLOC is 100% accounted for.
+ Transfer equipment between SLOCs - DA 3161s
+ Maintain inventory by updating equipment locations
+ ASTS inventory management system
+ Prep/complete turn-ins
+ Verify all assets for turn-in are listed correctly in the GCSS ARMY AESIPs
+ Physically scrape classification stickers off as part of the De-mil process
+ Have IT ensure all hard drives have been removed and the device is wiped before turn-in
+ Fill out the PSD form in AESIP's
+ Fill out the PR form in GCSS ARMY
+ Physically turn in - Scan inventory assets
+ Use the barcode scanner to inventory whole rooms of equipment and upload the scanner to the ASTS system- Updating the property spreadsheet
+ Pull information from ASTS and then update the Excel document -2062's
+ Fill out and issue 2062s to employees using ASTS

**Compensation**
The annual starting salary rate for this position is between $100,000-$120,000. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

**Essential responsibilities and daily duties include:**
+ Research and develop comprehensive procurement solutions for parts that are obsolete or no longer procurable for US built or ex-US Navy ships and craft in the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Program. These components must be form, fit, and function (FFF) replacements for the parts that are difficult to procure. In some applications, you will utilize next higher assembly.
+ Research potential engineering solutions and coordinate with platform planners and engineers to ensure that procurement solutions will meet technical requirements of platform. This may involve collaboration with other internal Amentum business units or external service vendors for re-design or fabrication of a hard-to-find component.
+ Coordinate with procurement personnel (buyers and ILS personnel) to ensure rapid procurement of alternative parts or next higher assembly solutions.
+ Ensure that planners understand engineering requirements and impacts of using the alternative component.
+ Develop estimates for labor and materials for FFG-7 class ships, Cyclone PCs, Mine Hunter Craft (MHC), Fast Missile Craft (FMC), and other FMS vessels in major maintenance availabilities such as Drydock Selective Restricted Availabilities (DSRA), Selective Restricted Availabilities (SRA), and other extended maintenance periods.
+ Collaborate with the Amentum CONUS Team, In-Country Teams, Planners, Port Engineers, and foreign navies to provide timely alternative procurement solutions for FFG, PC, FMC, and MHC class ships of the Egyptian Navy. You will need to interpret engineering drawings and technical documents/requirements.
+ Provide alternative part information to both internal and external stakeholders.
+ Track status of parts procurements and evaluate impacts to schedule for maintenance periods.
+ Support as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for alternative parts research and solutioning.
+ Work in a Strong Matrix and projectized environment for multiple customers.
+ Develop lessons learned for parts and material procurement.
+ Conduct detailed engineering analysis of component alternatives for FFF applications. Must be able to research technical requirements and be able apply those to finding alternative parts and materials in a high tempo procurement environment.
+ Respond to frequent telephone and email communications from planners, engineers, technicians, and potential vendors.
+ Participate and contribute to process improvement initiative.
+ Provide timely and comprehensive input for various Monthly Status Reports.
**Minimum Requirements**
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ 5 years of engineering and/or maintenance logistics experience.
+ 2 years of United States Government (USG) ship or submarine construction and/or repair and overhaul experience, specifically with providing logistics support, planning, and fulfillment.
+ Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
+ Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
+ Ability to obtain an active US Passport. Ability to travel CONUS AND OCONUS, as required.
+ Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS, as needed.

**Preferred Qualifications**
+ 10 or more years of logistics, maintenance, and repair experience with USG and United States Navy (USN) shipboard systems found on ships and submarines.
+ Experience in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) maintenance planning role for ships or submarines (may be concurrent with above experience).
+ Experience in fulfillment and rapid procurements of shipboard components.
+ Additional quality, technical, and project-based certifications (Safety NEC, Other Safety certs, OSHA 10 Maritime, Navy Maintenance/leadership certs, etc.).
+ Knowledge and experience of ILS procurement processes and installations.
+ Prior experience as a USN/United States Coast Guard (USCG) E-6 or above or senior shipyard logistics or engineering planner.
+ Demonstrated ability to work in established logistics databases such as HAYSTACK, MRO, and/or NAVSUP OneTouch.

**Responsibilities**
The Logistics Management Specialist will be responsible for logistics and acquisition type duties related to FMS cases from cradle to gravefrom initial request of equipment through planning for long-term program life-cycle sustainment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
+ Organizing research of foreign government requirements.
+ Preparing Letters of Acceptance (LOA), identifying material, services, and shipping requirements, and estimating system life cycle costs.
+ Conducting technical reviews and analysis for Letters of Request (LOR).

+ Coordinating efforts of subcontractors and field service personnel, resolving logistics problems and compiling data on standardization and interchangeability of parts to expedite logistic activities.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree (preferred)
+ 5 to 8+ years of relevant experience.
+ Experience resolving highly sensitive and complex problems.
+ Ability to prepare and brief senior management.
+ Effective communication with a wide range of groups including internal and external customers and high ranking government officials
