Job Description
Robert Half is in search of a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Logistixcs Coordinator. This role encompasses two key functions: purchase order maintenance/data entry and assisting with the capture of documentation for input into our document management system. While experience with ERP or Document Management Systems is a plus, we welcome candidates with strong office, people, and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
+ Order Processing: Assist in processing purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
+ Data Entry: Accurately input purchase orders and related data into our systems.
+ Order Verification: Verify purchase order details to ensure alignment with procurement requirements.
+ Communication: Collaborate with internal departments to confirm order specifications and resolve any discrepancies.
+ Document Capture: Assist in capturing and organizing documentation for input into our document management system.
+ Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy and completeness of documents before input.
+ Document Retrieval: Retrieve and provide requested documents as needed.
+ Organization: Maintain an organized system for document storage and retrieval.
Requirements
Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Previous experience in an office or administrative role.

We are currently looking for a FT Buyer & Inventory Control person for our telecommunications/construction company based in Quakertown, PA.
Summary/Objective
The Buyer/Inventory Controller is responsible for coordinating and overseeing all aspects of the purchasing and the inventory process for the organization, including evaluating and approving vendors and purchase orders, processing purchase order requests, generating the RFP/RFQ process, and handling logistics of delivery. This role collaborates with finance, CIS services and operations to identify inventory concerns and implement solutions. Coordinates and manages inventory for accuracy and assists with cycle counts.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinates with all departments and managers to verify purchase requisitions.
- Solicits quotes and negotiates the best price and service; examines quotes and makes awards.
- Prepares purchase orders, obtains appropriate approvals, and forwards purchase orders to suppliers
- Monitors and expedites orders/deliveries to align with schedules and mobilization dates
- Solicits new vendors and subcontractors
- Administers subcontractor onboarding process, issues subcontract agreements, and manages lien waiver process and certificates of insurance
- Verifies and resolves vendor delivery and billing issues
- Monitors/records hotel use for appropriate credit card account
- Enters new asset purchase data and assist with assigning item numbers
- Maintains database records; generates reports and communicates with essential personnel as needed
- Establishes and continuously improves purchasing policies and procedures to ensure compliance
- Maintains company inventory in Foundation including transfers
- Assists with the JML processing in Foundation
- Responsible for the preparation and processing of the quarterly inventory in Foundation
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- College education preferred or equivalent experience.
- Two years of purchasing related experience or demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities in relevant tasks/field
- Experience preferred in supply management, tracking budgets, vendor relationships, organization, customer service, documentation skills, construction methods and procedures, quality, cost account, and/or control engineering
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products required, Excel highly recommended

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily shipment activities, ensuring timely and efficient movement via land, rail, and air.
- Manage the transportation of hazardous materials, including lithium batteries, in compliance with safety and legal standards.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with shippers, carriers, and customers to ensure seamless logistics operations.

**Job Summary**
Leads the Inventory Control Team responsible for receiving product from vendors for quality control, maintaining the daily schedule of audits, managing inventory reports, and ensuring the overall accuracy of the warehouse inventory.
**Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities**
+ Records all adjustments, pallet audits, store discrepancies, and distribution center pulling discrepancies, and reports them weekly.
+ Reviews cycle counts and tracks discrepancies to ensure 100% inventory accuracy.
+ Receives products from vendors to check for quality.
+ Trains Inventory Control Clerks.
+ Coordinates and develops inventory analysis processes.
+ Develops or assists with the development and implementation of policies and procedures consistent with those of the organization to ensure efficient and accurate inventory.
+ Ensures a safe and compliant work environment by following safety policies, conducting inspections, and promoting best practices.

**Nature and Scope**
+ Problems are typically difficult and/or high impact. Troubleshoots complex support or operational problems for junior level associates.
+ Under limited supervision, independently resolves issues and applies a variety of methods to develop customized solutions. May lead the daily operations of a department or team. Work typically involves infrequent review of output by a supervisor or direct customers of the process.
+ Assists with supervisory duties but does not have hiring/firing authority. Trains, delegates tasks, and reviews the work of junior level associates.
**Work Environment**
+ Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
+ Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
+ Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
**Education and Experience**
+ Technical certification or associate degree may be required in some areas. Generally 7+ years of experience in area of responsibility.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Experience with managing inventory controls.
