The Logistics Specialist is responsible for supporting all material logistics at the ultrasound operations facility. Primary responsibilities include cost-effective acquisition of material transport, supply, delivery, storage, and disposal of goods and services to the Service and Parts Sales Division. Ensures internal and external regulatory and Quality System compliance as relates to material handling. Processes all shipping/receiving transactions, and supports all aspects of inventory movement and control.

- Perform all shipping/receiving activities of inbound and outbound materials.

- Make sure all shipping supplies are at adequate levels and submit re-orders as needed.
- Transact all material transfers within ERP system as required.
- Responsible for contacting, receiving quotes and issuing PO's for all LTL and other trucking logistics for systems and other.
- Handle all shipping defect issues as part of the MXR Quality System.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and MXR Quality Systems requirements and the accurate documentation and reporting of work orders.
- Physically move materials to proper locations within the warehouse and production floor and office areas.

Education/Experience:
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- AS degree in business, supply chain or other relevant area
- 3+ years of relevant experience in materials/inventory and shipping/receiving
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 or 13485 and FDA Quality System Regulation guidelines
- Experience using integrated ERP systems to manage purchasing and inventory management decisions
- Able to operate a forklift or to be certified to operate a forklift within 8 weeks of hire
- Excellent verbal and written English language skills
- Proficient with MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook

Here's what you need:
+ Minimum of 10 years experience shaping, solutioning, and delivering complex technology driven transformations across multiple platforms.
+ Minimum of 10 years experience leading complex technical design and architecture activities across data, integration, cloud, and software development and configuration.
+ Minimum of 6 years of functional experience in Supply Chain across Planning, Scheduling, Ordering, and Inventory Management.
+ Minimum of 6 years experience playing a technology advisory role to senior client stakeholders.
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years' work experience). If Associate's Degree, must have equivalent minimum 6-year work experience
