Position Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in logistics, freight coordination, or a similar role.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), and any ERP software preferred.
- Ability to quickly resolve logistical challenges and maintain service standards.
- Familiarity with customs brokerage, import/export regulations, and shipping documentation.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in logistics, supply chain, or a related field is a plus.
- Other Requirements: Must be detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

The success and safety of every mission depends on getting needed supplies, materials and equipment at a moment's notice. Supply Corps Officers make sure the Navy has what it needs, when it needs it. Responsibilities for this job may include:

Training & Advancement
Those pursuing a Supply Corps Officer position are required to attend Officer Candidate School (OCS) in Newport, RI. OCS is a program that provides a comprehensive and intense introduction to the responsibilities of Navy Staff Corps Officers over the course of approximately three months. Here they learn about the military structure of the U.S. Navy, its rich history of traditions and customs, leadership development and military etiquette.
Once that training is complete, you will learn the ins and outs of life as a Supply Corps Officer through the following specialized training programs:
Navy Supply School (27 weeks) in Newport, RI, for training in inventory management, food and retail operations, leadership, management and problem solving.
Advanced Training
Advanced training for prospective Supply Corps Officers may also be available. This specialized training may cover subjects including transportation management, freight classifications, methods of working with civilian carriers and special handling of medical goods and explosives.
Promotion opportunities are regularly available but competitive and based on performance.
Post-Service Opportunities
It's also important to note that specialized training received and work experience gained in the course of service can lead to valuable credentialing and occupational opportunities in related fields like logistics and business management.

Qualifications & Requirements
A degree from a four-year college or university is a minimum educational requirement to become a Commissioned Officer. You must also attend Officer Training. There may be exceptions to the degree requirements based on extensive service experience.
To qualify for employment consideration as a Supply Corps Officer in the Navy, you must be a U.S. citizen, be qualified for sea duty and be willing to serve worldwide. Degrees in business, science, technology, engineering and mathematics are preferred but not required. A graduate degree is preferred by not required.
General qualifications may vary depending upon whether you're currently serving, whether you've served before or whether you've never served before.
Part-Time Opportunities
Serving part-time in the Navy Reserve, your duties will be carried out during your scheduled drilling and training periods. During monthly drilling, Supply Corps Officers in the Navy Reserve typically work at a location close to their homes. This gives you the flexibility to expand your profession in the Navy without compromising your civilian career at home.
For annual training, Supply Corps Officers may serve anywhere in the world, whether at sea or on shore stations at home and abroad.

Most of what you do in the Navy Reserve is considered training. The basic Navy Reserve commitment involves training a minimum of one weekend a month (referred to as drilling) and two weeks a year (referred to as Annual Training) - or the equivalent.
Supply Corps Officers in the Navy Reserve serve in an Officer role. Before receiving the ongoing professional training that comes with this job, initial training requirements must first be met.
For current or former Navy Officers (NAVET): Prior experience satisfies the initial leadership training requirement - so you will not need to go through Officer Training again.
Officers who previously held a commission in another United States Military Service, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, Public Health Service, or United States Coast Guard are exempt from attending ODS or LDO/CWO Academy.

ResponsibilitiesWhat You'll Get To Do:
Panasonic North America (PEXNA) Supply Chain organization prides itself on delivering high quality operations across a wide range of supply chain functions. The key to our success is largely dependent on stellar team members who provide project support. Were currently searching for a project analyst to join our ranks and support highly visible domestic transportation operations. The ideal candidate will have a sharp business mind and a proven ability in understanding U.S.-based logistics management. As a natural born leader and a quick learner, you will have outstanding talent for project coordination, governance, and data analytics. Ultimately, you are motivated by the desire to deliver results and nurture operational success for all customers.
This role reports to the Manager of Transportation Operations and is responsible for all logistics-related operations and carrier performance management. This high-performing individual will be tasked to deliver operational excellence, strategy execution, and customer delight across business units. This role will support operations portfolio projects in the Supply Chain team, providing an outstanding opportunity to be part of a highly visible team. This individual will assist in building a best-in-class customer-focused operation through utilization of a lean management philosophy and driven by data-based decisions through KPI management, voice of customer, and continuous improvement.
- Support end to end Domestic Transportation operations across all modes of shipping and warehouse receiving.
- Build strategic partnerships with carriers and customers across a large global team.
- Support and execute data driven decision making.
- Cross functionally collaborates to identify and execute continuous improvements through Lean methodology.
- Participate in the growth of team culture.
Domestic Transportation Operational Management
- Support end-to-end shipment management from booking to final delivery.
- Lead daily operations stand-up meetings.
- Create stellar presentations and support leadership updates.
- Facilitate communication across logistics-related parties and drive collaboration.
- Work with business units and track-and-trace teams.
- Lead root cause analysis and establish corrective action plans.
- Address shipment delays during shipment journey.
- Support month-end and year-end activities.
- Drive actions and results from complex datasets.
Drive Logistics Strategy
- Support data analytics and perform ad hoc reporting needs.
- Create KPI and reporting requirements for transportation operations and logistics governance.
- Build project plans and drive initiatives to completion.
- Build Power BI dashboards for operations governance.
- Build process engineering documents including value stream maps, process maps, and RACIs.
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly operations KPI performance and report status.
- Automate manual processes through industry-leading automation tools and techniques.
- Responsible for developing and delivering monthly and bi-annual ROG (Revenue Opportunity Gap) and Transit Time analyses to support revenue recognition accuracy and validate transit time performance.
Invoicing and Rate Management
- Develop process to control rate management from domestic carrier network.
- Support leadership escalations to drive effective operations.
- Receive and process all necessary rate requests.
- Validate rates in the systems.
- Work with carriers to ensure correct rates are supplied.
- Work with business units to estimate correct capacity allocation.
- Review all disputes with carriers to allow freight payment to process invoices timely.
Qualifications
What You'll Bring:
Education & Experience
- BA/BS in Industrial, Supply Chain Logistics, or Engineering
- 2+ years of experience in Logistics and Operations teams
- Understanding on Gartners Magic Quadrant industry leading solutions
- Lean Continuous Improvement Experience required. Certification a plus
- PMP, ASCM Certifications a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel or other tools for complex data analysis.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as SQL, Tableau or Power BI is a plus
- Proven track record of process and data automation using tools like power automate, Alteryx, blue prism, RPA software

The wage range of$70,000 - $80,000 is just one component of Panasonics total package. Actual compensation varies depending on the individuals knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives. *The minimum hourly wage for this role will be the greater of the posted range, or minimum wage for the location where the employee will be working, subject to local minimum wage requirements.
