Under routine supervision, the Logistic Solutions Representative embodies the entrepreneurial-spirit by aggressively marketing the J.B. Hunt brand. The incumbent develops and secures a carrier base to build capacity in order to provide solutions to customers. The position also solicits business from new and existing customers to build business volume. Work duties requires developing and maintaining excellent customer relationships through daily engagement to maximize business potential.
**Job Description:**
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Provide customer solutions by developing and managing a network of third-party carriers in order to execute customer orders. (i.e. securing freight capacity, tracking & tracing loads)
+ Book & appoint loads tendered from customers and trace loads as needed and handle any other customer service related duties
+ Foster excellent customer relations by promptly responding to customer issues or requests
+ Solicit new sales by developing leads and cold calling potential customers by marketing & promoting J.B. Hunt's service solutions
+ Establishes and maintains a book of business through daily customer and/or carrier engagement activities (i.e. customer calls, emails, etc.) that lead to business growth
+ Partner with internal teams to promote best in class service, ensure safety, and adhere to all operational SOPs/processes. i.e.) carrier verifications, fraud prevention
+ Understand & contribute to individual & team-level profit & productivity metrics
+ Remain current on supply chain information to gain understanding of market trends
**Qualifications:**
**Minimum Qualifications:**
High School Diploma/GED WITH up to 1 year experience in transportation/logistics, business administration, account management, and/or equivalent military experience AND the ability to work across multiple shifts including nights and/or weekends if needed
AND/OR Demonstration of the following skills and abilities through education, certifications, military, or other experiences:
+ Strong professional communication skills applied internally and externally
+ Proven experience in establishing and maintaining healthy working relationships
+ Experience in fostering strong customer relationships via delivery on commitments, open communication, and on-going feedback/improvement

What you will do

As a Customer Logistics (CPFR) Co-Op, you are responsible for partnering with Kenvue Sales, Demand Planning, Logistics and our customer business partners, utilizing data analysis and collaborative relationships to provide forecast insights and replenishment solutions to deliver both customer and Kenvue critical metrics. You will assist in implementing process improvements through cross-functional collaboration and help customers achieve organizational metrics and goals. You will partner with the CPFR Analysts to provide them with reports and data that are relevant to their business decision making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and report critical metrics (in stock/out of stock, fill rate, and on-time delivery), and research root cause with supply chain partners and provide back in stock date and action plans to correct and prevent in the future.
  • Monitor ordering patterns to ensure alignment with anticipated POS and analyze orders and address opportunities related to lead times, minimum order quantities, returns, problem freight, etc.
  • Monitor in-stock percentages daily/weekly, developing a root cause for low in-stock issues, and provide store level recommendations to improve metrics.
  • Partner with Supply Chain and Sales to provide detail by SKU recommendations to Customer to drive higher inventory during periods experiencing lift (promotional, seasonal, etc.).
  • Support Sales/Demand Planning by providing item level POS and Supply Plan data and feature/ad/promo or reset ship dates.
  • Quickly merge and summarize data/information from different sources, to influence actions with key partners.
  • Develop and build key business relationships to gain insights into customer expectations and internal policies/capabilities, assisting in the proactive management of business needs.
  • Support the identification, planning, and execution of end-to-end solutions that enhance service, reduce costs, and introduce new capabilities.
  • Learn and utilize new technologies to support proactive business planning, accurate analytics, and increased efficiency.
  • Identify and propose innovative solutions using process excellence tools and methodologies that contribute to our programmatic approach within the end-to-end supply chain.
  • Utilize Microsoft and other advanced analytics applications, along with business applications such as SAP (S/4 Hana), BW, EDI, and ERP systems.

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor degree program in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field
