**Responsibilities:**

Position Responsibilities:
The Logistics Coordinator key responsibilities are to manage asset utilization and drivers to ensure a high delivery of customer service and fleet profitability. Additionally, the Logistics Coordinator assists, coaches and mentors' drivers with all training and administrative items.
Essential job requirements may include, but not limited to:
- Build and match planned freight to day cabs or condo trucks and drivers. In a dedicated training environment, this will include planning to coordinate trainers and trainee's needs for hours and home time.
- Review PTAs and driver's requests for time off or home time in planning loads for same-day or next-day dispatching. Schedule work and assign tasks to drivers.
- Coordinate with others in the department for awareness of driver, freight, and asset availability. Identify concerns with drivers who may need additional support, coaching, or disciplinary action to supervisors and managers.
- Coordinate with Maintenance on trucks out of service or returning to service to plan and dispatch accordingly.
- When available from customers, plan for future freight.
- Track drivers, loads and receivers to ensure dispatching is able to continue to run as planned.
- In a Dedicated environment, coordinate backhauls to meet customer's needs and keep freight, trucks, and trailers moving consistently.
- Maintain frequent contact with assigned drivers, monitoring call-offs, fatigue concerns and equipment issues. In a dedicated training environment, also includes ensuring trainees are working appropriately to next phase of training and placement.
- With team drivers, ensuring loads assigned are appropriate for teams and hours available.
- Monitor Hours of Service for dispatching and compliance.
- In a dedicated training environment, efforts should be focused on routing trucks or drivers (solo) with capacity to a terminal for better efficiency.
- Handle urgent situations such as the need to recover truck, freight, or driver, traffic, weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances that may prevent on-time delivery.
- Assist in orienting new drivers to fleets/accounts on proper ways to communicate, report to work, and other scheduling expectations.
- Work with drivers who have unique scheduling needs or issues that arise. Ensure coordination with supervisors and managers for special items such as leaves of absence, extended time off requests or concerns about meeting expectations.
Job qualifications may include, but not limited to:
- Ability to work with office equipment, utilizing computers for majority of tasks and must be familiar with Microsoft Office suite of programs.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Establish and manage relations with 3PL Samsung entities and customer clients
- Develop and maintain daily/weekly/monthly reports and KPIs to ensure operational excellence
- Producing and distribution of department reports to various groups/stakeholders within the Supply Chain network
- Provide status of orders to various business units within Samsung
- Run daily Open Order and Goods Issued reports to identify shipping and in-transit status within SAP system
- Track and resolve warehouse and carrier shipping errors
- Attention to detail and ability to identify process improvements
- Adaptability in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple time-sensitive tasks
- Exercise judgment within defined practices and policies in selection of methods and techniques for obtaining solutions

Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain preferred or 3 years experience with 3PL warehousing transportation and account/order management
- Demonstrated ability to analyze information to identify escalate and make recommendations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills including written verbal and active listening
- Advanced Excel knowledge including but not limited to Pivot tables VLOOKUP Macros and other advanced formulas
- Advanced Microsoft Office Outlook PowerPoint etc.
- SAP and TMS experience required
- In depth understanding of logistics industrys standards and best practices
- Strong time management organization prioritization and follow up skills
- Ability to complete tasks and solve problems with limited guidance and direction
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic and ability to learn
- Excellent problem solving decision making and analytical skills

The Logistics Specialist is responsible for executing customer vehicle relocation services orders and all supporting business operations. This role involves managing customer order execution and communication through email and telephone with staff, Independent Contractors, and pickup and delivery contacts. Accurate data maintenance in CRM is also crucial.
Responsibilities
+ Manage execution of customer orders by coordinating and scheduling pickup and delivery of customer vehicles while ensuring customer instructions are precisely followed.
+ Ensure orders are efficiently executed through linking of multiple orders.
+ Oversee accurate and timely completion of additional services such as vehicle detailing, titling/registration, and vehicle placement into storage.
+ Communicate timely by email, telephone, and CRM with staff, ICs, and pickup and delivery contacts, escalating issues to management as necessary.
+ Update CRM activities and notes promptly, maintain accurate data, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
+ Ensure adherence to applicable DOT regulations and Federal, State, and Local laws.
+ In manager's absence, calculate and offer flat fees on orders by emailing the bid sheet to all ICs.
+ Manage the storage facility, overseeing vehicle intake and release to customers, detail shops, and repair shops using VIN and order verifications.
+ Review vehicles for damage and issues, taking inventory of items left in vehicles.
+ Move vehicles in and out of the lot, ensuring secure storage and staging for pickup.
+ Account for all vehicles on the lot and communicate issues to headquarters for resolution.
