  • Collaborating with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
  • Developing and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) for logistics and supply chain operations.
  • Identifying potential risks and developing contingency plans within the supply chain.
  • Implementing new technologies and systems to enhance supply chain visibility and efficiency.
  • Generating reports and presenting findings and recommendations to management.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant transportation and warehousing regulations.
  • Negotiating contracts with carriers and third-party logistics providers.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain analysis, or operations management.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and potentially Python or R.
  • Experience with supply chain planning software (e.g., SAP APO, Oracle ASCP) and WMS/TMS systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of transportation modes, warehousing best practices, and inventory management techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Project management skills and experience implementing process improvements.
  • Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
  • Experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
