• Develop and execute comprehensive strategies for supply chain management, logistics, warehousing, and transportation.
• Oversee the daily operations of multiple distribution centers, ensuring efficiency, safety, and adherence to company standards.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of operations managers, supervisors, and logistics professionals.
• Implement and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and improve operational performance, including on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, and cost per unit.
• Optimize inventory levels and warehouse layouts to maximize space utilization and minimize handling costs.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and carriers to ensure competitive pricing and service levels.
• Identify and implement process improvements and technological solutions to enhance supply chain visibility, efficiency, and automation.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including transportation, safety, and environmental standards.
• Collaborate with procurement, sales, and finance departments to align operational plans with business objectives.
• Develop and manage departmental budgets, ensuring cost containment and optimal resource allocation.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and operational excellence within the logistics and warehousing teams.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Lead strategic initiatives to expand or optimize the distribution network.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management and logistics operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven experience managing large-scale distribution networks and multiple warehouse facilities.
• Strong understanding of WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and TMS (Transportation Management Systems) and ERP systems.
• Demonstrated success in implementing lean methodologies, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement initiatives.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong financial acumen and experience managing significant operational budgets.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel as needed to various operational sites.
• Experience with international logistics is a plus.
