The hybrid nature of the role allows for focused strategic work remotely and hands-on management of operations within the **Des Moines, Iowa, US** hub. Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily logistics and warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
  • Develop and implement strategies for supply chain optimization and cost reduction.
  • Manage inventory control, warehousing, and distribution processes.
  • Coordinate domestic and international transportation logistics.
  • Negotiate contracts with carriers and third-party logistics providers.
  • Implement and manage Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate operational reports.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Lead, train, and mentor logistics and warehouse staff.
  • Identify and resolve operational issues and bottlenecks in the supply chain.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a management role.
  • Proven experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, and transportation management.
  • Proficiency with WMS and TMS software.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain principles and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and communication abilities.
  • Experience with data analysis and KPI reporting.
  • Familiarity with international shipping regulations is a plus.
