**About the Opportunity**
The Inventory Control Clerk at BlueOval SK will have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be a key member of the start-up team, launching the facility from the ground up. As an Inventory Control Clerk, you will have the opportunity to grow professionally throughout the organization, learning many skills across several operations as you progress within the company. Inventory Control Clerk work within the Material Planning and Logistics area of the plant and are afforded the opportunity to learn cross-functionality as they master each area of the distribution process.
**Wages Include:**
+ $21 hour starting wage
+ Two scheduled increases in hourly wage rate each year of continuous employment.

**Key Areas of Responsibility:**
The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for ensuring order production and distribution of products by safely pulling orders from manual racking and ASRS (automatic storage and retrieval system) locations.
+ Organize new parts into commonality codes.
+ Cycle all parts/commonality codes in the plant with requested frequency
+ Cycle all Bulk Material
+ Cycle Balance-Out Parts for all areas in order to provide accurate inventories for remaining builds.
+ Complete last cycle for dis-continued parts.
+ Complete Cycle Summary Sheet indicating Variances from the same family of parts in order to better understand the relationships between Gross Variances.
+ Contributes to the orderly operation of stock and/or materials storage area through the use of First-in First-out (FIFO) methodologies
+ Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages/overages
+ Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections, making operator repairs, and ensuring proper charging cadence is followed for all electric equipment
+ Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move materials onto and off trucks, racking, and loading docks
+ Learns and adheres to workplace safety regulations
+ Effectively navigate multiple computer-based operating systems (e.g. ASRS Interface, WMS, SAP, etc.)
**Work Environment and Essential Functions**

**Minimum Requirements:**
+ High School Diploma or GED (General Education Development)
+ Must be at least 18 years of age

**Preferred Experience**
+ 1 year of experience in a material handling position within a manufacturing environment
+ Previous stock or inventory experience a plus
+ Prior knowledge and experience utilizing Powered Material Handling Equipment (i.e. forklifts and electric pallet jacks), is a plus
+ Prior knowledge and experience with cycle counting or inventory investigation is a plus
+ Experience working with ASRS interfaces is a plus

Overview

Senior Acquisition Logistics Manager

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Provide life cycle logistics support to the Battlefield Airborne Communications Node (BACN) program, which is within the USAF Aerial Networks Division (AFLCMC/HNA) and located at Hanscom AFB, MA.

WORK LOCATION: Hanscom AFB, MA

JOB STATUS: Fulltime; salaried

SECURITY CLEARANCE: MUST have an active US Security clearance

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform logistics management operations that involve planning, coordinating, or evaluating the logistical actions required to support a specified mission, weapons system, or program.
  • Identify specific requirements for money, manpower, materiel, facilities, and services needed to support programs.
  • Provide analytical support for key logistics metrics (supply, reliability, maintainability, etc.) and provide them to key logistics reviews.
  • Apply knowledge of the acquisition lifecycle and product support planning during each phase and possess the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative project team.
  • Apply familiarity or experience accomplishing a Logistics Health Assessment (LHA) and knowledge of the DoD Product Support Manager Guidebook; apply experience with defense acquisition management processes in accordance with the DoD 5000 series instructions.
  • Develop, maintain, and coordinate life-cycle sustainment plans (LCSPs) and other logistics planning documents; review and provide input during development of system design documentation to include technical requirements documents (TRD); capability description documents (CDD); capability production documents (CPD); interface control documents (ICDs); and system specifications.
  • Provide logistics expertise to government product support managers at technical interchange meetings (TIMs), design reviews, provisioning conferences, in-process reviews, test readiness reviews, event scheduling, internal staff meetings, integrated product team (IPT) and working group meetings.
  • Provide relevant revisions, and reviews for product support documents including reliability, maintainability and availability reports, level of repair analysis reports, provisioning analysis, technical orders, and drawings to ensure compliance with current policies and regulations.
  • Provide relevant input for maintenance planning activities, upgrades, modifications, and studies while interfacing with contractor logistics support personnel and product support integrators.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of the acquisition lifecycle and product support planning during each phase
  • Experience executing ILS support for DoD Acquisition programs.

  • Bachelors degree and 10 years of experience (5 DoD), or 15 years of directly related experience (8 DoD)
