Position Overview:

DHL is seeking dynamic and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Seasonal Logistics Associates. This role is crucial to our global logistics network during the bustling holiday season. We offer both full-time and part-time positions that can easily fit your schedule!

Key Responsibilities:

• Package Sorting: Efficiently sort packages by destination and priority to ensure accurate processing.
• Loading/Unloading: Safely load and unload packages from trucks, containers, and aircraft.
• Package Handling: Safeguard package integrity during handling while adhering to DHL's quality standards.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to DHL's safety protocols to promote a safe working environment.
• Inventory Management: Aid in tracking and reporting package movements.

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Capability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Flexible availability including nights and weekends.

Working Conditions:

• Warehouse setting with varying temperatures.
• Full-time and part-time shifts are available.
• This is a seasonal position from mid-November through early January, with potential for ongoing employment.

This role will serve as a frontline supervisor providing team leadership and functional expertise.

• Provides daily work direction to frontline associates
• Uses technical systems for reporting and analytics
• Leads daily performance meetings
• Conducts performance coaching, provides individual feedback, and issues corrective action
• Makes daily decisions impacting the business
• Handles all team performance and personnel issues
• Manages time and payroll systems
• Working Shift: 8pm to 6am, Saturday-Tuesday

Compensation and Benefits:

• The expected compensation range for this position is between $48,200 - $72,450.
• Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
• Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 5% of annual salary paid out annually.
• Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

• High School Diploma required
• Associates degree or equivalent background preferred
• 1 + of experience in Manufacturing, Warehouse, or Operations
• 3 + years' experience in Supervising Others Preferred
• Good Verbal and Written Communication Skills
• Experience in Coaching and Monitoring Performance of Others Take Others With You
• Able to Instruct and Teach Others
• Skills in Organizing, Planning and Prioritizing Work
• Troubleshooting and Problem Solving Capabilities
• Knowledge of General Regulatory & Safety Processes and Procedures
• Mechanical and Technical Aptitude
