Job Overview
The Product Manager - Supply Chain & Logistics will play a key role in defining, building, and enhancing logistics and warehousing product capabilities across the Americas region. This role will collaborate closely with sales, operations, and product teams at headquarters to develop competitive logistics products , enhance user experiences, and ensure our product offerings align with both customer needs and evolving market trends .
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular research on local logistics and warehousing & distribution industry trends in the Americas, including customer demands and competitive analysis, ensuring our product strategy aligns with market needs and company goals .
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle management for logistics and warehousing & distribution products. Collect and prioritize product requirements, write detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), and define product features and user experience requirements covering warehousing management, inventory control, order processing, transportation, and distribution.
- Collaborate with the headquarters supply chain product team to participate in product design, development, testing, and go-to-market processes. Ensure on-time delivery and high-quality releases. After launch, continuously track performance, gather user feedback, and analyze data to enhance product features and optimize performance.
- Work closely with sales, operations, procurement, and other business teams to understand operational pain points and identify opportunities to enhance the adoption and effectiveness of logistics products, ultimately driving business growth.
- Monitor industry innovations and competitor products , analyze market data to uncover potential product gaps, and propose innovative enhancements such as new automation technologies or advanced route planning algorithms.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies in the supply chain space (e.g., automation, big data, AI) and explore ways to apply them to enhance product competitiveness.
- Extensive experience in logistics operations, product management, or solution design , with a proven ability to design and deliver logistics products .
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills .
- Familiarity with international logistics, warehousing, and distribution operations in the Americas is preferred.

Role Description:
The Sr. Manager, Supply Chain & Planning plays a key role in overseeing the coordination, execution, and optimization of the contract manufacturing and planning processes within Spectrum Vascular's supply chain. This role will support the process to assure coordination between vendors, contract manufacturing, sterilizer, and the 3PL warehouse. The role will also support/ lead the demand planning and S&OP process for the various product lines.
Role Responsibilities:
- Demand Forecasting: In collaboration with sales and operations, analyze historical data, market trends/consumption, and sales forecasts to predict demand for vascular access products. Provide updates to management on forecast variance.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of work in process and finished products to prevent shortages or overstock situations. Optimize inventory levels to include considerations such as shelf life, lead times, and planning schedules.
- Production Planning: Work with the contract manufacturing organization (CMO) to develop production schedules and plans based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and manufacturing capacities, and ensure timely availability of products.
- Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers, distributors, and logistics partners to maintain an efficient supply chain. Manage relationships with external partners to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the supply chain such as delays in raw material delivery, regulatory changes, or quality issues. Develop contingency plans to mitigate these risks and maintain continuity in the supply chain.
- Procurement: Manage and maintain purchase orders with vendors. Ensure master data for vendor and item management is maintained. Execute replenishment purchase orders and work with Vendors to make changes and/or prioritize based on demand.
- Product Complaint Notification: interaction with Quality for triage and Customer Service / 3PL to coordinate product returns and investigation.
- Vendor Performance & Supply:
- Maintain Approved Supplier List (ASL) as well as measure performance of vendors with KPI's such as on time delivery, quality, and cost.
- Maintain supplier and quality agreements.
- Create, maintain and communicate Vendor Supply forecasts, based on a 12-month rolling forecast; Set priorities with vendors on open and planned future purchase orders as well as ensuring delivery dates are accurate.
- Process Improvement: Continuously review and optimize supply chain processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall performance.
- Compliance and Regulation: Ensure that all activities adhere to regulatory requirements and quality standards imposed by regulatory bodies like the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) or other relevant agencies. This involves maintaining accurate records and documentation.
Role Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or minimum of 5-10 years of experience in supply chain planning/ production planning in a medical device or other regulated industry.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management and planning principles – APICS certification .
- Ability to analyze complex data, forecast demand, and make data-driven decisions to optimize production and planning processes.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in using and managing an ERP system (SAP, NetSuite, etc.)
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest level of accuracy.
- Willing to roll up sleeves and support where needed.
- Strong computer skills including MS Office (MS Project)

Develop, implement and control the Master Production Schedule considering demand, capacity, and materials availability constraints in coordination with Capacity Planner and other Supply Chain planners. Ensure availability and adequate inventory levels of materials are available to execute Manufacturing Plan. Support execution of Capacity Planning Activities. The incumbent must comply with all Security Guidelines, Environmental Health and Safety regulations and the current Good Manufacturing Practices required by the Job Function.
Responsibilities:- Prepares and manages the detailed production schedule and production order issuing in order to correctly match with the demand.
- Analyzes and solves the capacity and manufacturing exceptions within the Firm Horizon (Short Term) and monitors the Medium Term for the assigned work centers.
- Inputs in the system the data needed for a correct scheduling (i.e. product change, format change) in accordance with production.
- Schedules production orders and evaluates ability to make a schedule change.
- Participates with other Planners, Finance and Department Management in the development of the yearly budget.
- Executes materials requirement process to support agreed production plan and ensures orders are placed with direct materials suppliers. Plan, order and schedule corresponding raw, semi-finished and/or packaging components for all production related activities, including commercial requirements, special projects, new products and existing product changes.
- Coordinates weekly material priorities with key personnel to assure on-time material disposition.
- Analyzes and optimizes asset utilization while meeting established short term needs (e.g. Ship To Promise expected results).
- In Production Scheduling, resolves Capacity Issues (equipment, materials and labor issues, QC Holds or delays for bulk and raw materials, plant shutdown) based on the consolidated demand and on the Production scheduling priorities.
- Coordinates and facilitates all the activities which lead to the production completion, in partnership with Customer Service, Production, Maintenance and QC/QA.
- Informs Customer Planning of product availability and delays to support negotiation of due dates and to anticipate supply issues.
- Coordinates all activities required to assure the availability of API and raw materials.
- Provides input to support preparation of Supply Chain meetings and participates in those meetings as needed.
- Monitors the performance metrics for the assigned products and work centers (e.g. schedule attainment), provides Root Cause Analysis and follows up on actions plan to improve these metrics.
- Operates accordingly to internal and global procedures.
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Preferred; otherwise Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business Related field.
Experience:Minimum 8 years in Supply Chain Planning. MS Suite required. Pharma Experience preferred. SAP Experience preferred.

Ensures delivery of excellent customer service through accurate and fast processing of orders. Provides logistics support for domestic and international movement of recycled materials. Communicates and coordinates with other departments and partners in order to fulfill customers' needs. First point of customer contact for general inquiries. Builds and maintains business relationship with clients and suppliers by providing prompt and accurate service.

**II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.
+ - Communicate with customers to monitor inventories and anticipate their production needs and to schedule all necessary equipment to move waste by-products.- Arrange and negotiate third-party freight costs, when needed, for timely servicing of all customers waste by-product pick-ups by using WM approved carriers.- Monitor and maintain shipment status via computer system.- Respond to customer complaints in a timely manner. Investigate and solve issues with shipments for both vendors and customers.- Initiate calls to customers to set up deliveries, advise shipment delays and/or information necessary to set up deliveries. Initiate traces with carriers and railroads for proof of deliveries when needed.- Review pricing with the Sales and Marketing groups.- Develop interactive relationships with vendors, customers and outside freight carriers.- Responsible for all necessary documentation for all shipments, which can include export documentation to overseas mills.- Initiate calls to customers to ensure timely and accurate invoicing. Record and prepare vendor payments in accordance with contracted terms. Ensure proper billing of freight and special charges. Issue debits and credits as necessary.- Resolve downgrades and rejects of waste material by dealing directly with the customer and the vendor. Gather and process the cost information by negotiating pricing with the customer and/or vendor to minimize the overall impact to the company and customer, with approval by account manager.- Work with other supervisors/managers to coordinate services and keep them informed as issues arise.- Project a knowledgeable, enthusiastic, positive attitude that encourages customer and employee confidence and reflects the professional image desired by WMRA.- Attend and contribute to periodic meetings to maintain favorable working relationships among employees and promote maximum morale, productivity and efficiency.- Provide timely feedback to direct supervisor regarding service failures, customer complaints or any other matters regarding his/her attention.- Provide timely and accurate information to incoming customer order status and product knowledge requests.- Works to meet or exceed service and operational goals established for the call center, including productivity, quality, and timeliness goals.- Collaborate with sales representatives to meet and exceed customers' service expectations, and develop solutions to ensure smooth material movement.- Perform other special projects and tasks as assigned.- May provide direction or support to less experienced Customer Service Representatives.

The expected base pay range for this position across the U.S. is $22.50 - $26.50. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
