**Position Summary:**
This role is responsible for the supervision of day-to-day inventory control activities. Oversee and ensure compliance with the inventory policy and process, ensure accurate and timely reporting, record retention, and directs hourly Associates. Partners with distribution management to recommend process improvement. Partners cross-functionally to ensure inventory integrity and process improvement.

+ Ensure compliance with internal, external and Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) audit requirements.

+ Coordinate and lead pre-shift meetings and ensure timely communication with associates on various topics.

Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Logistics and Supply Chain Manager to optimize their distribution and warehousing operations in San Antonio, Texas, US . This critical role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the supply chain, including procurement, inventory management, warehousing, transportation, and distribution. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record in driving efficiency and cost savings within complex logistics networks. Responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing strategic supply chain plans to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
• Overseeing all inbound and outbound logistics operations, including warehousing, inventory control, and transportation management.
• Managing relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, carriers, and suppliers.
• Implementing and optimizing warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS).
• Analyzing supply chain data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
• Developing and managing departmental budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial accountability.
• Leading and mentoring a team of logistics and warehouse professionals.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, safety standards, and quality procedures.
• Negotiating contracts and service level agreements (SLAs) with vendors and carriers.
• Implementing inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize carrying costs.
• Developing and maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain operations.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma.
• Collaborating with sales, operations, and procurement teams to ensure seamless supply chain integration.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., APICS CSCP, CLTD) are highly desirable.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or operations management.
• Proven experience in managing warehousing, inventory, and transportation operations.
• Strong knowledge of WMS and TMS software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
• Proficiency in supply chain modeling and optimization techniques.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
