GENERAL SUMMARY: This position is for a Logistics Manager. Responsible for managing and providing logistics services to Program managers during project planning, execution, system testing, and certification.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversight and or able to perform the following:
- Bid analysis for procurement of material/services more than 10K across multiple locations.
- Prepare Statements of Work and Request for Quotation for materials and services.

Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for supporting CANNAB initiatives on all Submarines, Squadrons, Shipyards, and Submarine Readiness Squadrons to maintain assigned SUBLANT units ready for tasking.
Responsible for the adjudication of CANNAB requests by completing compatibility validation actions
Process CANNABs for approval while accounting for all open requisitions and payback needed by dates.
Liaison with COMUSFLTFORCOM, COMSUBPAC, Naval Shipyards, and Repair Activities to resolve material needs for operational units and shipyard projects.
Have understanding, knowledge, and ability to coordinate with NAVSUP, ISEA, and WSS to obtain and track distributable inventory for open requisitions.
Monitor quality deficiency reports and inform assets of material shortfalls in the planning phases of maintenance availabilities.
Notify NAVSUP and WSS of chronic material shortfalls and track remediation actions to restore proper inventory levels.
Monitor failure data of critical repair parts and make recommendations for the early acquisition of said materials when appropriate.
Supervise and administer TYCOM CANNAB procedures and recommend changes where appropriate.
Build, maintain, and report on statistics and metrics on failure data and estimated times to repair to help standardized maintenance availability durations while identifying the need for improved quality control in manufacturing or installation and testing.
Provide administrative services to N4 military and civilian staff.
Maintain material and maintenance status of COMSUBLANT submarines.
Must have knowledge, background, and understanding to be able to support the following tool:
CASREP, SUBS, and NAVY message management systems.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Six (6) years full-time on an Undersea Enterprise Staff as a civilian or active-duty submariner with experience in submarine logistics/acquisition, ILO, and submarine life cycle support of the AN/BQQ-10 Series/AN/BYG-1 combat systems or a computerized and computer-controlled combat system which closely resemble AN/BSY-1 or AN/BSY-2 in complexity, operation, maintenance approach and HM&E systems. The individual shall have a working knowledge and be able to coordinate with NAVSUP, ISEA, DLA, and WSS. Additionally, Liaison with PEG UWS, PEG C4I and PEG SSN Program Offices, Navy Warfare Centers, In-Service Engineering Agents, Maintenance Activities, and Shipyard Projects.
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Five (5) years of full-time experience on an Undersea Enterprise Staff as a civilian or active-duty submariner in Navy Integrated Logistic Support or System Life Cycle Support System. The experience shall include at least the following Navy ILS components listed below in support of major submarine systems:
Navy eCANAB or
Supply support or
Navy one touch or
Navy Haystack or
Navy Messaging or
Technical logistic data or
Packaging, handling, storage, and transportation or
Design and installation or
Configuration Management Data (CDM-OA) or
