Job Description
Load Planners coordinate all processes and functions of freight movement and customer service. Load Planners process customer orders, plan & optimize shipments into loads using Transportation Manager System, tender freight to third-party carriers, update the Transportation Manager System with current shipment information and respond to internal and external customer inquiries. Load Planners also provide visibility to management and the customer by tracking, process over-sight, auditing, researching, and troubleshooting operational issues or functions.
**Shift:**
Saturday thru Tuesday 7:00am - 5:00pm. Hours may vary slightly to meet customer demand.
**Major Responsibilities:**
- Load-building - Adding shipments to a load, rating a load, securing carrier coverage and appointment setting. Monitoring and resolving MCP email messages. Identify shipping opportunities for improved performance such as: truckload multi-stops, consolidated shipments, etc.
- Provide excellent Customer Service to assigned account(s)
- Call Center and shared email box responsibility
- Provide visibility to management and the customer by tracking shipments, process over-sight, auditing, load exception investigation, researching and troubleshooting operational issues or functions.
- Recover customer loads
- Complete daily logs and trackers. Provide detailed instruction for various customers and associates from other shifts by phone and e-mail.
- Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
**Qualifications:**
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) required. Bachelor's Degree in Business or Supply Chain Management preferred.
- One (1) plus year of experience in Transportation/Supply Chain preferred
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and sense of urgency
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to learn and regularly operate various computer systems across different platforms
- Ability to develop and maintain professional working relationships with customers as well as Penske associates
- Ability to use critical thinking to analyze information, communicate appropriately, make decisions within the framework of the SOP, solve problems, evaluate results, and determine if further action is needed.

GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Logistics Coordinator performs in an operational, customer service, and sales support capacity. They are responsible for identifying the most efficient means of moving our customer's freight, resolving client conflict, and building valuable relationships with carriers.
CORE & ESSENTIAL:
TASKS:
- Develop and manage the end-to-end scheduling and execution of all outbound shipments exercising discretion and independent judgment to coordinate freight carriers, negotiate freight rates, select cost effective and efficient freight solutions, coordinate with internal teams (e.g., Sales, Warehouse), and determine customer requirements to ensure on-time delivery.
- Manage the daily flow of orders and transactions, prioritizing urgent shipments and adjusting schedules proactively to mitigate delays or disruptions in the supply chain.
- Serve as the primaryliaison between the warehouse/operations team and external logistics partners (carriers, 3PLs), ensuring all parties have accurate and timely information for load tender and pickup.
- Establish and maintain a real-time, centralized scheduling system for all logistical movements, providing accurate visibility to stakeholders.
- Investigate and resolve complex shipment issues like delays, damaged goods, or incorrect deliveries. This involves making real-time decisions on re-routing, carrier disputes, or expedited service without a manager's direct oversight.
- Prepare and process shipping documents, such as bills of lading, packing slips, and export paperwork.
- Monitor scheduled delivery dates and expedite shipments when necessary to meet deadlines.
- Analyze logistics performance metrics (e.g., on-time delivery, costs, and efficiency).
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare and review reports to provide insights on logistics operations and performance.
- Accurately and efficiently enters data.
- Reviews previous day's transactions to ensure the transactions are complete.
- Serves as point of contact for the Company by answering telephone and emails involving transportation and scheduling, and correctly dispatching the communications to the appropriate parties in a timely manner.
- Continually monitor, prioritize, and manage load schedule changes and responds in a timely and effective manner.
- Ensure all logistics processes comply with applicable regulations, including international trade laws and customs procedures.
- Assists with filing claims for damaged or lost freight.
- Assists with other administrative responsibilities and coverage for team members as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
Minimum 2-5 years' experience in a logistical/scheduling environment or bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered. Trained and well versed in lean tools and processes. Strong experience working with key continuous improvement tools. Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills are essential. Must be results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications, ERP experience and contact management software. Ability to manage and successfully work under tight time constraints. Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. use of protective gear).

The Logistics Specialist - Analytics and Reporting supports logistical efficiency, reduces transportation and warehouse costs, and improves service through accurate data and insights. Working with the North America Corporate Logistics team, this role collects, synthesizes, analyzes, and interprets data from various sources. It also creates and maintains key reports for internal stakeholders.
This position builds relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively uses systems like SAP, Tableau, and Power BI to identify areas of improvement. Self-motivation and the ability to work independently to meet deadlines are crucial. A basic understanding of Avient's transportation processes, SAP transactions, and financial flows is required. Proven analytical skills are required. Success is achieved by meeting goals through Avient's leadership behaviors.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- This individual will be responsible for prioritizing and focusing on the specific analytical and reporting objectives including:
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Logistics within the OTA system and reporting flows. Stay informed about global processes and evaluate the tools used by the logistics team to enhance operations.
- Provide accurate and prompt monthly data from multiple sources for month-end reporting and dashboards.
- Manage external reports, ensuring clarity of purpose, identification of audience, timely receipt, and thorough data review. Utilize analytical skills to recommend improvements based on these reports.
- Act as a key stakeholder for all carrier bids, holding all parties accountable for data integrity, accurate baselines, and appropriate analytics application. Be capable of discussing the process and results by business segment. Drive the creation of accurate and meaningful bid summary reports.
- Distill critical data, prepare detailed reports, and develop executive talking points.
- Cleanse complex datasets and address incomplete data to drive improvements.
- Clearly communicate with all levels of the organization and create corresponding presentations as required.
- Maintain primary and secondary key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the efficiency and effectiveness of logistics and warehouse operations.
- Generate regular reports and dashboards to provide insights into performance against KPIs.
- Create clear and concise data visualizations, charts, and graphs to effectively communicate findings.
- Participate in Quality Audits as needed.
- Attend and actively participate in meetings with internal and external stakeholders as required.
- Appropriately escalate issues to relevant stakeholders.

- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Data Science, Supply Chain Management, or Business Analytics required
- 3+ years logistics experience required
- Proven logistics analyst experience
- SAP experience

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the flow of goods and materials throughout the supply chain, ensuring efficient operations and timely delivery. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING. OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED:
- Coordinates with transportation providers to arrange for the timely and cost-effective delivery of product.
- Establish and maintain the suppliers to ensure the most appropriate mode of transportation is selected, negotiating rates, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Assists with managing warehouse operations including warehouse inventory and scheduling transportation to and from warehouse.
- Assist in the processing of shipping documents, preparing invoices, and tracking shipments in coordination with the shipping department.
- Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities, including shipping documents, invoices, and warehouse inventory data.
- Analyze logistics processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to reduce cost and increase efficiency.
- Assists in coordinating trucks – Inbound and Outbound – Work directly with logistics company to determine shipping methods.
- Communicate with internal and external suppliers, customers, and transportation providers to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Responsible for Warehouse, Shipping Logistics, Inventory Control and Outbound/Inbound Traffic Flow functions such that the Plants’ Objectives for Shipping/Inventory Accuracy and Customer Fulfillment Rates are being achieved using the SAP Platform. Perform a variety of shipping and receiving tasks per Saint-Gobain’s Inventory Control Guidelines and Logistics Standard Operating Procedures.
Essential Job Functions:
- Manages Facilities Outbound and Inbound Shipping Appointments using SAP and
- Maintains Daily Transactions for Third Party
- Monitors all Inbound and Outbound traffic throughout the facility to minimize wait times for loading and
- Responsible to resolve all Department Sales Force cases timely and
- Monitors Material Movement Transactions in SAP with a very high level of accuracy (Transfer Orders, Scrap and Bin to Bin Movements)
- Participates in Cycle Counting tasks with the Shipping Supervisor including reconciliation to ensure accurate Inventory Levels are maintained in SAP in both the Inventory and Bin Level.
- Help to Support and Maintain Warehouse stock location system and code dates to ensure proper inventory turns and adherence to FIFO principles.

Beacon Dx is seeking a detail-oriented and mission-driven individual to support the delivery and operational excellence of our home sleep testing services. In this role, you will play a key part in enabling accessible, at-home diagnostic care by preparing and managing SleepView systems and SleepView Direct services. You'll support critical workflows-ranging from equipment programming and kit preparation to patient data entry and quality assurance-all while upholding high standards of clinical integrity, security, and patient experience. The position will be located in the US, at Beacon Bio Dx in Cleveland Ohio.
What success looks like:
- Receive incoming medical kits from patients and ensure study data is accurately saved into proprietary software.
- Sanitize, inspect, and program sleep study equipment (SleepView monitors) for reuse in compliance with internal hygiene protocols and FDA guidelines.
- Assemble and prepare patient kits for shipment, ensuring timely and accurate delivery for home sleep testing.
- Manage incoming and outgoing packages, including receiving returned sleep study equipment and restocking supplies.
- Prepare SleepView Direct area for kit assembly and monitor inventory levels of components and consumables.
- Support day-to-day office operations
- Maintain organized files in strict accordance with HIPAA and internal confidentiality protocols. Enter and update patient information and sleep test data into proprietary cloud-based software systems.Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of information including Protected Health Information that is created, received, maintained or transmitted from the web portal or customer messages as required.

- Prior experience in a warehouse kitting or shipping or role (preferred but not required).
