**SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Pay: $18.50/hr.
+ Schedule: 1st Shift. Monday-Friday (7:00am-3:30pm).
+ Strict compliance to all C&W Services Safety Policies and Procedures including all Cardinal Safety Rules.
+ Generate all Bill of Ladings, customer labels, and customer requested labels for outbound shipments.
+ Generate and maintain all customs documents.
+ Process all inbound receipts and paperwork, print receiving labels and report any variances to appropriate PSR.
+ Maintain High Security seal log for cross border shipments.
+ Maintain shipment logs in SAP.
+ Research and correct inventory variances in SAP.
+ Notifies warehouse of any special instructions on receiving or shipping.
+ Maintain COA database with inbound shipments.
+ Obtain necessary COA for outbound shipments.
+ Maintain driver sign in sheet and verify load plans and license.
+ Attend monthly safety meetings and complete all required safety training.
**NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / DUTIES**
+ Answers inbound phone calls.
+ Performs all office duties including faxing, copying, and scanning.
+ Have knowledge of standard practices and procedures within a particular field.
+ Must follow established routine. Employee will perform any and all other duties that are assigned by the responsible supervisor.
+ Must have the flexibility to work all shifts including holidays, weekends, and overtime as demanded by the job.
**PERFORMANCE GOALS**
+ Zero customer complaints and zero safety violations.
+ Inventory control of 99% accuracy.
+ Paperwork accuracy of 100%.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
+ **Education:** Possess a high school diploma or approved GED
+ **Experience:** Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and SAP Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels.

Job Overview

Logistics Operator III is responsible for various assignments, duties, and tasks within the warehouse which may or may not require the use of a PIT Forklift to complete. These responsibilities may include pallet building; inbound unloading; outbound loading; replenishment of the pick floor or Vertique Mezzanine Areas, and or the fulfillment of customer orders. This role will travel throughout the warehouse pick area to retrieve and stack specific products and quantities; per the pick ticket assigned while maintaining any determined expectations of safety, accuracy, and efficiency.   • Retrieve and place quantities of cases of product onto a pre-determined pallet as instructed by the assigned Pick Ticket, safely, building a stable pallet of product, while meeting or exceeding warehouse, company expectations in safety, accuracy, and efficiency
  • Load outbound product and or deposit items by transporting them from their assigned storage area within the warehouse to the loading docks and placing them on the appropriate trailers in a safe, accurate, and efficient manner
  • Replenish product to the warehouse pick and or Vertique Mezzanine Areas by transporting such from their assigned storage areas within the warehouse to their specific assigned location (bin) within the pick and or Vertique Mezzanine Area in a safe, accurate, and efficient manner
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of work area and warehouse, performs other tasks including pallet building as determined and requested by management
  • May perform other duties as assigned

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while walking and repetitively lifting 30-75 lbs.

1. Utilize "Fuel Shepherd," TA's proprietary fuel management system, to forecast daily site-level fuel requirements based on inventory, demand, and market conditions
1. Coordinate bulk fuel deliveries across assigned markets, ensuring demand is met efficiently
2. Manage biodiesel sourcing strategies by analyzing supplier pricing, reliability, logistics, and contractual terms
3. Ensure correct usage and blending of biodiesel at designated sites, oversee blender repairs, and verify compliance with blending specifications
4. Monitor market dynamics and product availability to optimize renewable fuel supply in real-time
5. Maintain supplier compliance with contract terms and fuel delivery expectations
6. Analyze pricing anomalies and support back-office administration processes
7. Configure Fuel Shepherd integration with carriers for load execution and real-time performance monitoring
8. Track daily carrier performance, resolve logistics issues, and file claims as necessary
9. Evaluate long-term carrier metrics (e.g., delivery accuracy, runouts, pricing efficiency) to drive service improvements and uphold established business guidelines with all transportation partners
10. Collaborate with accounting to ensure accurate load data and timely transaction processing
11. Maintain compliance with specialty fuel programs (e.g., biodiesel blends, additives) and ensure integration into supply planning
12. Lead and support cross-functional fuel supply initiatives and special projects
**Qualifications**
1. 1-4 years of relevant business experience in logistics, operations, or transportation
2. Bachelor's degree preferred
3. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
4. Proficient in Windows-based applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
5. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders
6. Demonstrated analytical thinking and data-driven decision-making capabilities

**Working Conditions / Physical Requirements**
