Description:

· Transfer resin from railcars to silos using resin transfer system

· Utilize the scan guns to locate products in the warehouse, and track lot numbers and bin locations

· Perform cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory levels

· Communicate to the Supervisor/Manager about any errors found

· Operate order picker and/or tow motors following all safety rules and procedures

· Replenish bins as directed by the Supervisor/Manager

· Contribute to warehouse cleanliness

· Follow dock procedures during loading and unloading

· Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Manager

· At least 2 years’ experience in inventory control in a manufacturing warehouse setting

· Intermediate math skills

· Ability to count accurately

· Ability to communicate effectively in English, including fluent reading and writing

· At least intermediate computer skills including knowledge of MS Office

· General housekeeping: Must always maintain a clean, neat, and organized workplace

· Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task

· Forklift or Tow Motor experience preferred

· Able to lift up to 40 lbs during product movement

Job Description

Pay Range: $15-$7 hourly

Financial Opportunities:

• At 12 months in role, earn an additional .50 per hour by gaining your first certification

This individual contributor position is responsible for various tasks related to staging, and preparing inventory vehicles for inbound/outbound transport and direct delivery.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Use handheld scanning equipment to log vehicle locations and troubleshoot inventory location
• Accurately receive, organize, locate, and stage inventory vehicles on-lot consistent with processing and safety standards
• Multi-point inspections of inventory vehicles and accurately complete inspection reports
• Consistently meet processing and quality standards
• Maintain lot and workspace areas
• Safely operate company-owned vehicles
• Fuel inventory vehicles as needed

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to operate a computer and company issued tablet and mobile devices
• Ability to work as a team player and interact with customers, managers and coworkers in a professional and courteous manner
• Ability to frequently and safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles
• Ability to work variable schedules as necessary

Physical Working Conditions

• Capable of walking 5 to 10 miles per shift
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions such as rain, snow, heat, etc.
• Frequently getting in and out of vehicles.

Logistics Operator III is responsible for various assignments, duties, and tasks within the warehouse which may or may not require the use of a PIT Forklift to complete. These responsibilities may include pallet building; inbound unloading; outbound loading; replenishment of the pick floor or Vertique Mezzanine Areas, and or the fulfillment of customer orders. This role will travel throughout the warehouse pick area to retrieve and stack specific products and quantities; per the pick ticket assigned while maintaining any determined expectations of safety, accuracy, and efficiency. This position performs other tasks assigned by warehouse management including pallet stacking, handling damage restack and or rework, stacking product, and picking up pallets with a pallet jack, when applicable.

• Retrieve and place quantities of cases of product onto a pre-determined pallet as instructed by the assigned Pick Ticket, safely, building a stable pallet of product, while meeting or exceeding warehouse, company expectations in safety, accuracy, and efficiency
• Load outbound product and or deposit items by transporting them from their assigned storage area within the warehouse to the loading docks and placing them on the appropriate trailers in a safe, accurate, and efficient manner
• Replenish product to the warehouse pick and or Vertique Mezzanine Areas by transporting such from their assigned storage areas within the warehouse to their specific assigned location (bin) within the pick and or Vertique Mezzanine Area in a safe, accurate, and efficient manner
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of work area and warehouse, performs other tasks including pallet building as determined and requested by management
• May perform other duties as assigned

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while walking and repetitively lifting 30-75 lbs.
