Supply Chain Manager
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for strategic and operational execution of the Materials and Supply Chain organization (purchasing) to support American BOA and BOA Group. This includes the management for programs and pursuits, the development and implementation of strategies to meet business performance expectations, and the accomplishment of Supply Chain continuous improvement goals and initiatives. This is a highly visible role and candidate must be comfortable with interacting with persons at all levels of the organization, as well as customers and external auditors. Additional responsibilities include leading the organization in the development and implementation of procurement, subcontract and material objectives, supply chain policy and procedures, and execution of business strategies.
This role oversees initiatives resulting in the continuous improvement of the Supply Chain through cost reduction, quality improvement, uninterrupted material supply, and lead-time reduction. This individual is ultimately responsible for strict adherence to BOA ethics, internal controls and ensuring government compliance. This position reports to Managing Director.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Strategic and tactical operational execution of the supply chain and materials organization
- Responsible for analyzing and interpreting regulatory requirements and determining how they apply to the Supply Chain. Regulatory requirements include ITAR, EAR, and FAR/DFARS.
- Supply chain staffing, development and implementation of strategies to meet key performance expectations and continuous improvement goals
- Collaborating with business development, program management and engineering to ensure early supply chain involvement in proposal and design efforts.
- Ability to exercise sound judgement and model a high degree of personal accountability, professionalism and discretion
- Lead organization in development/implementation of strategy for procurement, subcontracts/material, and other supply chain related areas.
- Strong analytical skills, as well as highly developed critical thinking and problem-solving skills are required

**Your Role at KIK**
The Supply Chain Planner reports into Pool Supply Chain leadership. You are responsible for managing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain process to ensure that products are available to meet customer demand while minimizing costs and maintaining high service levels. This involves reacting to changes in demand, inventory management, production planning, procurement, and logistics coordination. The role requires close collaboration with various departments such as sales, marketing, production, and logistics, as well as external suppliers and customers.
**What You'll Be Doing**
+ Partner and support cross-functional teams (PMO, Procurement, Vendors, 3PL, Sales, Manufacturing and Finance) to ensure the company meets performance targets.
+ Partner with KIK plants, suppliers, and procurement to maintain adequate stock levels of raw materials and finished goods at plants and warehouses as assigned in time to meet production requirements and customer demand
+ Ensure customer demand is satisfied while preventing production schedule changes dues to raw materials shortages
+ Manage projects to change production lines (i.e., discontinuation, product changes or new product introductions)
+ Perform safety stock analysis to determine appropriate inventory stocking levels.
+ Develop effective communication channels with Demand Planning, Sales, Marketing, Suppliers, and Vendors to maximize customer service, while managing inventory.
+ Primary owner of planning and inventory control master data parameters
+ Perform data analysis on existing and incoming inventory, and predict stock-out dates
+ Identify process improvements opportunities and recommend solutions
+ Responsible for ad-hoc analysis
+ Evaluate and coordinate the disposition of excess and obsolete inventory.
+ Execute and manage daily Purchase Orders (components, raw materials, and finished goods; production and purchased)

U.S. Lumber, an SBP Brand, is currently looking for a Logistics / Transportation Manager to join our team for the overall management of all transportation personnel and equipment.
In this role you will focus on:
- Personnel:
- Recruiting drivers, on an ongoing basis, to add, replace and/or upgrade. Being ever mindful of the system wide shortage of drivers, working with HR to maximize retention and discovering opportunities for identifying qualified candidates. Having a very thorough understanding of the hiring process and providing complete documentation to HR for approval. Hiring, indoctrinating and training of new drivers - safety, processes, systems, qualifications.
- Supervising and interacting with drivers on an ongoing basis. Maintaining a visible presence with each driver and engaging and soliciting process improvement input. Conducting regular training and driver meetings on at least a quarterly basis. Conducting a documented employee review as appropriate, but at least annually. Securely maintaining an employee personnel file for each employee.
- Thoroughly reviewing the previous day's routes. Auditing logs, hours, inspections and route completion on a first thing daily basis. Tracking driver's progress during the day.
- Constructively disciplining and documenting inappropriate or marginal performance, including, but not limited to, all DOT infractions and customer service and safety issues.
- Maintaining morale and providing a safe and harmonious work environment.
- Managing work schedules and daily hours of service to insure that there are sufficient hours available at the end of the week, while maximizing weekly hours of service. Calculating weekly payroll and submitting on a timely basis.
- Developing creative and fluid driver incentives to focus attention on key opportunities for improvement.
- Evaluating driver performance on the road by personally conducting an ongoing ride along, ride behind program.
- Insuring that all motorized equipment is operated appropriately and safely and only by trained, qualified, licensed operators - on the road and around the yard.
- Insuring that equipment is inspected daily and all issues reported are corrected same day, particularly as it relates to curtain trailers.
- Maintaining an onsite inventory of essential equipment supplies and managing competitive replenishment.
- Maintaining a close relationship with vendor representatives and documenting and reporting service issues and periodically reviewing service and pricing with each vendor.
- Investigating any damage done by an employee to equipment immediately and implementing disciplinary and corrective action as appropriate.
- Tracking hours and verifying usage is balanced to insure the fleet is not over or under utilized.
- Completing a thorough inspection of trucks and trailers monthly with the assigned driver and documenting in the Truck Book.
- Insuring that PM's are conducted as prescribed on all equipment.
- Fostering a culture of safety, in letter and spirit, throughout the organization.
- Managing the safety indoctrination and ongoing training program.
- Insuring that PPE is available and all drivers are wearing PPE at all times.
- Insuring that material is safely loaded and properly secured.
- Investigating and documenting all accidents and incidents, both occurrences and near-misses, and developing processes to correct. Utilizing occurrences as a training and feedback opportunity. Investigate "How's My Driving" calls and documenting action taken.
- Understanding DOT and CSA standards and requirements and insuring they are met or exceeded in every instance. Implementing standardized, repetitive training to insure driver understanding.
- Closely monitoring injured employees and remaining up-to-date on days away.
- Understanding recordable and non-recordable accident and interacting with Human Resources on status of injured employees.
- Understanding DAWFII scoring and the impact on rating and insurance.
- Minimizing and investigating damage in transit and upon delivery.

**Position Purpose:**
Food and food service delivery Drivers fulfill a critical role in the country's food supply chain. **Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:**
+ Drive to assigned supplier/vendor and/or PFG warehouse locations according to a predetermined route and delivery schedule. The schedule and route types may be local and/or over-the-road, i.e., layovers. Over-the-road schedule length will vary based on the location's business needs.
+ Delivers assigned loads back to PFG warehouse locations for receiving into inventory. Ensures timely pick-ups and the right product is received and loaded.
+ Performs appropriate load and paperwork inspections including but not limited to product counts, invoices of products that have been loaded, quality checks and other related items as required.
+ Check and complete in an accurate and legible fashion all the required paperwork associated with backhaul operations.
+ Routinely check in with direct supervisor to confirm route, load, and schedule. Advise direct supervisor of load drop-off/pick-up issues, schedule changes and other related information. At the end of the shift secure all equipment and complete all necessary paperwork.

Job Summary
Responsible for the daily operations of logistics and distribution functions of the Materials Management Procedural Department at the NGHS Gainesville Facility. Oversees Inventory Storeroom and distribution for Procedural Supply Rooms. Plays a leadership role in managing the flow of materials within the system and daily surgical case cart picking. Develops/implements policies and procedures. Will meet logistical needs of NGHS procedural areas, support patient care and organizational goals by providing input to alternative approaches and programs. Must be able to develop goals, objectives, annual budgets, and implementing short and long term operational strategies. Collaborates with Purchasing to manage item back orders. Collaborates with Par Optimization Team and Clinical leaders to establish PAR locations for current and new items. Maintains activities related to all Procedural Value Analysis teams to ensure proper implementation of new products.
Minimum Job Qualifications
* Licensure or other certifications: Able to be trained and certified on the use of an electric pallet jack.

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities
* Oversees ordering of all distribution through automated and manual supply replenishment systems necessary to meet the demand of all procedural areas .
* Maintains all aspects of the Kanban program through the Daily Management System (DMS). Maintains all aspects of perpetual inventory including replenishment, par levels, backorders, returns and maintaining expired/damaged product processes. Conducts expiration date checks on all stock items.
* Monitors the quality, quantity, cost, and efficiency of the movement and storage of goods and certain equipment.
* Manages and controls the order cycle for both inventory and LUM (low unit of measure) by utilizing lean principles, data driven monitoring, and analytics from associated information systems.
* Analyzes inventory levels in conjunction with the MMIS and Data Analysis team to insure most efficient inventory replenishment processes are in place.
* Communicates with Procedural Nursing representative concerning changes and updates to supply PAR levels. Works with Par Optimization and Data Analysis team to manage routine analytics for all PAR locations tied to Non-Procedural Areas. Works with Clinical Leadership to implement any and all necessary changes associated with analytics and with Par Optimization team to ensure work is completed, accurate and operationally sound.
* Responsible for enhancing business efficiency by applying lean principles, analyzing logistical problems and producing new solutions.
* Core participant and works closely with the Procedural Value Analysis Teams to effectively onboard new products, equipment, polices, and procedures.
* Works with Human Resources to recruit qualified candidates and provides proper orientation and training. Monitors competency of current staff and aligns training and educational needs to meet the needs of the organization. Shows ability to motivate and lead.
* Assists in preparing the department Annual Operating and Capital Budgets.
* Completes all employee reports and records according to schedule and organization requirements. This includes; Disciplinary Actions; Performance Evaluations; Time Card/Productivity Reports; Staff Meetings/In-service attendance; Data Sheets and Budget Variance Reports.
* Provides management leadership throughout the department and in the absence of the Director, assumes other duties as assigned.
* Supports a safe working environment including compliance with all regulatory requirements and all other hospital, state, and federal safety policies.
* Works with Explant Warranty software system to ensure proper return of explant devices including tracking of shipments and associated details.
* Leads team on the appropriate steps to research and resolve supply concerns, address supply related issues related to case cart picking process and work with SPD on needed instrumentation when situations arise.
* Maintains inventory of biologics, products for robotic surgeries and complex supplies associated with various specific service line procedures. Manage and maintain inventory control of consignment products associated with OR specific procedures.

The Manager of Planning is responsible for leading and optimizing the production planning and scheduling processes. Reporting directly to the VP of Supply Chain, the Planning Manager will oversee the planning team and collaborate with production, procurement, and engineering to ensure that production schedules align with customer demand, inventory targets, and resource availability. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills to drive continuous improvement initiatives and enhance overall operational efficiency.
Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions
Strategic Planning:- Develop and implement production planning strategies that align with business goals and customer requirements.
- Collaborate with the VP of Supply Chain to set planning objectives and KPIs that drive efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor sales trends and demand forecasts to adjust production plans accordingly.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the planning team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

- Scenario Planning: Develop and implement contingency plans to address potential disruptions such as equipment failure, material shortages, or changes in customer demand. Regularly conduct "what-if" analyses to anticipate challenges and prepare proactive solutions.
- Schedule Optimization: Continuously refine production schedules using advanced planning tools and techniques, such as Just-In-Time (JIT) and Theory of Constraints (TOC), to minimize lead times and reduce inventory costs. Work closely with production teams to identify opportunities for schedule compression and improved throughput.
- Real-Time Monitoring: Implement systems to monitor production progress in real-time, enabling quick adjustments to schedules as needed. Collaborate with floor supervisors to address any delays or deviations from the plan, ensuring that production targets are met on time.
- Integration with Supply Chain: Ensure that production schedules are fully integrated with supply chain activities, including procurement and logistics. Coordinate with suppliers to align delivery schedules with production needs, minimizing inventory holding costs while ensuring materials are available when needed.
- Compliance and Documentation: Ensure that all production schedules are documented and maintained in accordance with company policies. Prepare detailed reports on schedule adherence, production output, and any deviations from the plan, providing insights to the VP of Supply Chain and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with procurement to ensure timely availability of materials and components needed for production.
- Optimize inventory levels to balance cost and service levels, reducing excess inventory while avoiding stockouts.
- Implement systems to monitor and track material usage, and work with the team to minimize waste.
- Serve as the key liaison between planning, production, procurement, engineering, and quality assurance teams.
- Facilitate cross-functional meetings to review production plans, address challenges, and coordinate upcoming projects.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to ensure alignment on production goals and timelines.
- Identify and implement process improvements within the planning function to increase efficiency and reduce lead times.

- Lead or support Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement initiatives within the planning department.
Qualifications/Demonstrated Performance Competencies :
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- 7 years of experience in production planning or supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
