Major Responsibilities:

• Planning daily warehouse transfers to ensure timely shipments from Distribution Centers to customers.
• Preparing weekly truck schedule for outside Distribution Centers and ensuring inventory is evenly balanced.
• Auditing finished goods returns to Distribution Centers and redistribution of inventory.
• Preparing monthly and yearly service level reports, finished goods inventory reports, and daily sales and inventory level reports.
• Recommending, initiating, and conducting special projects as requested.
• Assisting with compiling, developing, and monitoring the annual budget.
• Covering vacations in Planning as well as serving as coverage for Planning & Scheduling Manager as needed.
• Ensuring the master production plans developed are based on the sales forecast.
• Scheduling the production of tobacco products as well as tobacco-free products.
• Working closely with Purchasing and inventory control to ensure sufficient material is on hand to meet schedules.
• Analyzing and adjusting production schedules that are affected by changes in raw material or equipment.
• Balancing product mix between promotional product and open stock.
• Managing WIP inventory and finished good inventory to an agreed upon level.
• Analyzing inventory status daily to ensure proper availability to an agreed upon target.
