* Participates in the recruitment, retention, performance enhancement, and competency assessment of staff in collaboration with Supply Chain Logistics Manager. Ensures compliance to established standards, policies, and procedures. Provides actionable feedback to employees to promote effective teamwork and satisfaction in the workplace in consultation with Supply Chain Logistics Manager.

* Documents and addresses employee concerns related to work performance, attendance, or any other disciplinary problems. Measures beyond verbal communication or for egregious acts will be forwarded to a Supply Chain Logistics Manager for assessment and formal discipline

* Regularly performs duties of employees to assist with workloads.

* Responsible for technical, policy, and procedure, and communication training for assigned areas.

* Participates in yearly audit and inventory.

BASIC KNOWLEDGE:

High School Diploma or equivalent required and a minimum of 4 years of experience in related healthcare or warehouse field.

Basic knowledge of medical terminology, aseptic techniques, and inventory management.

A high level of interpersonal skills to effectively represent Brown University Health and Supply Chain in interaction with all levels of personnel within and outside the organization.

 Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and ability to learn necessary supporting information system.

Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles. Advanced system skills such as excel or the buying/PAR inventory system. Two years progressively more responsible related experience with demonstrated abilities in management in the health care field. Knowledge of managing a union healthcare staff in material management.

**SUMMARY**

**QUALIFICATIONS**
+ Bachelor degree with 5+ years of experience in multiple areas of Supply Chain or Master degree with 3+ years of experience in multiple areas of Supply Chain
+ Working knowledge in an MRP environment (Oracle experience is a must), Agile and PowerBI.
+ Intermediate knowledge of MS suite (especially Excel)
+ Excellent organizational, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
+ Detail- oriented and able to work in a fast paced / dynamic environment.
+ Experience in a highly regulated environment (preferably in med device or pharma)
+ Training in JIT, TQM, Kanban, Kaizen, and Lean desired.
**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**

Gather and process the cost information by negotiating pricing with the customer and/or vendor to minimize the overall impact to the company and customer, with approval by account manager.- Work with other supervisors/managers to coordinate services and keep them informed as issues arise.- Project a knowledgeable, enthusiastic, positive attitude that encourages customer and employee confidence and reflects the professional image desired by WMRA.- Attend and contribute to periodic meetings to maintain favorable working relationships among employees and promote maximum morale, productivity and efficiency.- Provide timely feedback to direct supervisor regarding service failures, customer complaints or any other matters regarding his/her attention.- Provide timely and accurate information to incoming customer order status and product knowledge requests.- Works to meet or exceed service and operational goals established for the call center, including productivity, quality, and timeliness goals.- Collaborate with sales representatives to meet and exceed customers' service expectations, and develop solutions to ensure smooth material movement.- Perform other special projects and tasks as assigned.- May provide direction or support to less experienced Customer Service Representatives.

+ Collaborates with others in Logistics Department to continually improve Customer Service key measurements - On Time and In-Full (OTIF) Measurement reports.
+ Maintain Department Efficiency reports, organize and file shipping, receiving and production reports.
+ Follows the Logistics Standard Operating Procedures .
+ Monitor Customer Shipments using the outbound process flow in SAP that will ensure optimal location loading, efficient manpower usage and accurate inventory transactions.
+ Ensure Max Weight on Outbound Trucks is met.
+ Creates BOL's documents and ensures proper filing of documents.-
+ Actively troubleshoots Order Issues with SAP and RF Monitor

**Position Overview:**
As a Specialist, Logistics, you will provide critical logistics support for high-profile clients such as IKEA, Peloton, and Samsung. This role focuses on inventory control, cycle counting, processing returns, and handling customer claims. You will serve as a key point of communication with customers, carriers, and internal teams, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of issues.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Perform inventory tasks including cycle counting and preparing returns.
+ Follow up on claims with customers and carriers, including product damages and in-home damages.
+ Manage inbound and outbound communications via email and phone.
+ Maintain and update customer profile information; enter loads into the Freight Optimizer system.
+ Communicate load issues to account managers and provide updates to receivers and customers.
+ Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries, ensuring timeliness and product condition.
+ Validate load data for accounting purposes and investigate product overages, shortages, or damages.
+ Schedule and reschedule delivery appointments; accept or decline loads per account manager direction.
+ Provide detailed routing instructions to drivers.
+ Collaborate with team members to support overall logistics operations.
**Qualifications:**
+ Minimum 1 year of logistics or transportation industry experience.
+ Strong customer service and communication skills (email and phone).
+ Ability to handle claims by listening, understanding requirements, and following established processes.
+ High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
+ Experience writing routine reports and correspondence a plus.
+ Ability to follow instructions and problem-solve effectively.
+ Team-oriented with strong attention to detail.
**Pay Details:** $20.50 per hour

What you’ll be doing: 

As a Delivery Driver, you will transport products safely and deliver office supplies on your assigned route to customers.  At times, depending on volume, you will load your truck.

You will organize and load product for delivery utilizing the manifest assuring the most efficient delivery route and schedule. You will be a problem solver for our customers; providing customer support, accepting product returns and will be empowered to make your customers' day.  You’re our brand on wheels! 

You will be essential to the success of Staples Supply Chain as we deliver to our customers.

What you bring to the table:   

  • An ability to be a safe and courteous driver who can navigate your way around a map and all kinds of weather and road conditions.  
  • An ability to make sound decisions, be it driving, parking, safety related and/or customer interaction related. 
  • An inclusive approach with your colleagues and customers to forge strong relationships and foster collaboration to resolve issues. 
  • An ability to use technology including GPS and mobile Proof of Delivery (POD) devices.    
  • An ability and willingness to maintain cleanliness of vehicle including performing pre-trip vehicle inspections and reporting any maintenance concerns. 

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications: 

  • Must have a valid drivers’ license with a driving record indicating a safe driving history acceptable to the company and at all times remain eligible to drive a commercial motor vehicle under applicable laws and regulations. 
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen (No THC) to the extent legally permissible. 
  • Must obtain a 6-month DOT medical card specific to the role. 
  • Basic English language skills (both verbal and written communications).
  • Full-Time associates must have the ability to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift; additional overtime hours will be required based on business need. 
  • Ability to lift up to 70lbs, push and pull items weighing up to 400lbs. with the assistance of hand carts/material handling equipment, and occasionally maneuver up to 130 lbs.
  • Must wear safety composite shoes.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age. 

What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 1-year of truck driving experience (operating a 16ft or longer straight truck) or comparable driving experience.   
  • High volume package delivery experience.
