- Coordinate and manage all aspects of domestic and international transportation.
- Select and manage relationships with carriers, brokers, and 3PL providers.
- Negotiate freight rates and service agreements.
- Monitor shipments, track progress, and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
- Resolve logistical issues, such as delays, damages, or customs problems.
- Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and documentation requirements.
- Optimize shipping routes and modes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Maintain accurate logistics data and generate performance reports.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in logistics coordination and supply chain management.
- Proven experience with freight forwarding, carrier management, and transportation planning.
- Proficiency in logistics management software and ERP systems.
- Strong understanding of shipping regulations and documentation requirements.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a remote setting.
- Experience with international shipping and customs procedures is a plus.
