About the Role
The Supply Chain Manager located at our Louisville, KY location, will oversee and optimizes the end-to-end supply chain operations to ensure the efficient movement of materials, products, and information. This role is responsible for sourcing, procurement, production planning, inventory management, logistics, and vendor management, with the goal of improving operational efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
Responsibilities :
- Determine how to most effectively use ERP to achieve and track operational and financial targets.
- Ensure uninterrupted supply of production support materials and distributed finished goods.
- Maintain optimum inventory levels to ensure on-time deliveries to meet customer requirements and increase service levels.
- Monitor developments in materials and supplies and determine ability to reduce costs and/or improve quality.
- Facilitate implementation of interdepartmental processes.
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business goals.
- Manage procurement processes, vendor selection, and supplier performance.
- Oversee inventory control, forecasting, and planning to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Individual contributor managing the supply chain functional area with the potential to build-out a department and manage procurement specialists.
- Develop and document standard operating procedures.
- Coordinate logistics, warehousing, and transportation activities.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, sales, and finance.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal quality standards.
- Mitigate supply risks and develop contingency plans.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on supply chain performance.
Qualifications :
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or related field of study with a recognized designation (SCMP) or a combination of education and comparable work experience.
- 2-5 years of supply chain experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Warehouse and distribution experience.
- Experience developing vendor and customer relationships.
- Detailed understanding of ERP/MRP systems.
- Demonstrated understanding of an integrated supply chain; procurement, planning, logistics and regulatory requirements related to the movement of goods.
Required Skills :
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of supply chain principles, including procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
- Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and supply chain software.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements (e.g., import/export laws, ISO standards).
- Understanding of cost structures, forecasting, and production planning.
- Industry-specific knowledge (e.g., chemical, life sciences, electronics) as applicable.

4+ years in high-volume distribution or e-commerce fulfillment leadership (pick-pack-ship, wave planning, or shipping).
Proven expertise with WMS/EWM systems for order waving, labor management, and shipping documentation.
Demonstrated success driving Lean warehousing or Kaizen projects that improved productivity or cost per unit.
Solid understanding of freight operations (parcel, LTL, truckload) and carrier performance management.
Strong analytical aptitudeable to interpret KPIs, create dashboards, and translate insights into action.
Experience leading teams across multiple shifts or a 24/7/365 environment.
An Exceptional Candidate Might Have
Lean Six Sigma Green- or Black-Belt certification.
APICS CLTD or similar logistics credential.
Hands-on experience launching a 7-day shipping model or automation (put-to-light, AMR, etc.).
Background in transportation cost modeling and carrier negotiation.
Demonstrated ability to integrate SAP EWM data with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) for real-time visibility.

Job Description
The Fleet and Logistics Supervisor is required to exercise discretion and act independently with respect to daily operations for the assigned shift, including personnel management, training, production, route assignments, safety and customer service.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid CDL with Medical Card, preferred
- Knowledge of OSHA, DOT and EPA guidelines
- Previous operations experience in the trucking industry.
- 3 or more years of prior management of people in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management, both internal and external to the department.
- Ability to competently utilize a computer and use it effectively
- Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle record check.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Exercises discretion in assigning and supervising CDL drivers operating solid waste collection equipment on the assigned shift.
- Monitors daily production of the assigned shift.
- Ensures all drivers perform and complete daily activities with routes professionally and timely.
- Conducts field inspections and audits of all assigned personnel to ensure proper work procedures are compliant with Company and other regulations.
- Uses discretion to address customer complaints in a timely manner and reviewed with General Manager.
- Supervise dispatchers and/or drivers as needed for assigned areas.
- Oversees compliance programs, including but not limited to environmental, DOT and OSHA.
- Investigates all incidents, completes incident reports and recommends and issues discipline.
- Monitors driver hours to verify compliance with DOT hour requirements.
- Keep Red Tag Calendar for Manager and Supervisors.
- Work with drivers and Routing Department to optimize routes.
- Responsible for ensuring proper staffing on the assigned shift, which includes assisting with new hires and terminations of existing employees.
- Responsible for ensuring new drivers are properly trained.
- Supplies Maintenance Manager with Daily Route Matrix to ensure proper equipment needs are met daily.
- Reviews schedule of routine repairs with Maintenance Manager.
- Reviews DMRs with Maintenance Manager to ensure completion in a timely manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Trucking Manager to maintain day-to-day operations.
