Position Summary


We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Importation & Supply Chain Logistics Specialist to support our global inbound logistics and supply chain operations. This role will assist in managing international shipments, coordinating freight and customs processes, and ensuring timely, cost-effective delivery of goods to support our dynamic CPG business. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in logistics, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to operational efficiency.



Key Responsibilities


  • Coordinate importation activities, including booking, routing, and tracking of international shipments.
  • Communicate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers to support service quality and cost control.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with U.S. Customs regulations, HTS classifications, and international trade laws.
  • Prepare and review import documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, ISF filings, etc.).
  • Track freight spend and delivery performance; support initiatives to improve cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with supply chain, merchandising, and warehouse teams to align inbound logistics with inventory needs.
  • Help resolve issues related to shipment delays, customs holds, or documentation discrepancies.
  • Maintain logistics SOPs and contribute to process improvement efforts.
  • Support seasonal and promotional planning by helping ensure timely delivery of key product launches.


Qualifications


  • 2–4 years of experience in importation, logistics, or international supply chain, preferably in the CPG industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, International Trade, or a related field preferred.
  • Familiarity with customs regulations, HTS codes, Incoterms, and international shipping practices.
  • Experience working with freight forwarders and logistics vendors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics GP or Business Central is a plus.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and support process improvements.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Customer Service Representative with a strong background in logistics and warehouse operations. This role goes beyond traditional customer service and requires hands-on experience with shipment coordination, warehouse systems, and client-specific order requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and process inbound and outbound shipment notifications from customers.
Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to:
Enter outbound orders
Create and print Bills of Lading (BOLs) and pick tickets
Enter tallies for inbound shipments
Confirm receipts and post applicable charges
Capture and execute customer-specific shipment requirements, including:
Re-palletization
Labeling
Photo documentation
Coordinate closely with warehouse staff to ensure order accuracy and fulfillment.
Communicate with customers regarding inventory discrepancies or issues.
Handle billing of charges associated with shipments (note: invoice processing is not required).
Experience with hazardous freight is a strong plus.

-1-3 years of Logistics/dispatch/transportation background
-WMS Experience- examples below- need someone who has done more than just dispatched before
- Processing and entering in inbounds/outbounds through system
- Printing BOL's and pick tickers
- Marking labels, printing COAs/SDS
-Strong attention to detail and highly organized
-Strong professionalism
-Demonstrated longevity and commitment to a long term role -(Accellos)
--1 -2 years of 3rd party logistics experience preferred
