Summary

Hemlock Semiconductor Operations is seeking Supply Chain students for summer internship positions at our manufacturing facility in Hemlock, Michigan. Interns are assigned challenging projects that provide hands-on, practical work experience that is aligned to the student's current level of coursework and skills. Essential Functions
  • Supply Chain Intern - Assist the Production Planning and Scheduling, Warehouse, and/or Customer Service Teams by executing projects that increase efficiency.
  • Develop an understanding of supply chain and broader HSC processes.
  • Update and distribute supply chain documentation.
  • Participate on project teams for developing and implementing improvements.
  • Supply chain data collection and recording to support area Production Planners and Schedulers.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Inventory management and organizational support for warehouse improvements.
  • Monitor purchase requisition mailbox and enter purchase requisitions into SAP.
  • Potential opportunity to learn how to perform a key role on the Production Planning and Scheduling Team, such as Production Scheduler, MROS Scheduler, or Raw Material Scheduler.
Education Requirements
  • High School Diploma
  • Preferred Field of Study: Supply Chain
Intern must maintain the following:
  • The candidate must attend a 4-year university and pursue a certificate or degree in a similar field of study
