Position Description
The Shipping, Receiving & Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining accurate inventory, and ensuring smooth material flow within the manufacturing process. This role also supports procurement and production planning functions, including vendor coordination, material ordering, and scheduling activities, to meet production and customer requirements efficiently.
Qualifications
Education/Certifications :
- High School diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related field preferred.
- 2–4 years' experience in shipping, receiving, inventory control, or procurement in a manufacturing environment.
- MRP/ERP system experience preferred.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience :
- Knowledge of shipping regulations, carrier requirements, and packaging standards.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work with vendors on orders, deliveries, and quality issues.
- Understanding of MRP/ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
