Job Summary:
The Lube Technicians responsibilities include preparing detailed vehicle service reports, replacing vehicle wiper blades and changing motor oil. You should also be able to keep vehicle interiors clean while performing maintenance and servicing tasks. To be successful as a Lube Technician, you should have strong mechanical skills and adhere to all safety procedures and practices. Duties and Responsibilities:
Applying lubricants to the moving parts of vehicle engines to prevent premature engine wear and ensure optimal engine performance.
Replacing cabin, fuel, air, and oil filters as required.
Performing tire rotations to ensure even tire wear.
Testing tire pressure and adding air as needed.
Thoroughly inspecting customers vehicles for oil leaks.
Making recommendations for additional servicing based on initial vehicle inspections.
Notifying the Service Advisor when vehicle maintenance or servicing cannot be completed within scheduled time frames.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Check/fill gear boxes
- Perform additional services, such as fuel filters, transmissions and differentials, when applicable
- Assist with performing pressure and leak check
- Perform visual inspection of belts, hoses, and other hood compartment components, document unusual conditions. Assist with performing pressure and leak check
- Lubricate chassis, when applicable Install a tamper seal on all plugs
- Assist with final safety and quality check
In addition to the duties listed above, every crew member is responsible for general center maintenance and cleaning duties such as mopping, washing center windows, lawn mowing, clearing litter, snow and ice from the site, and cleaning restrooms.
