**Job Description**
We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Machine Operators for the afternoon shift from 2:48 PM to 11:00 PM. This role involves working within the molding and mixing departments, where candidates will be trained and placed based on operational needs.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate presses in the molding department.
+ Lift and transport materials weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
+ Conduct visual inspections for quality assurance.
+ Load and unload rubber into machines.
+ Stand at one machine for most of the shift to perform repetitive tasks.
+ Reach into machines to load and unload products, which may be awkward due to length.
+ Use hands extensively for loading, lifting, and packaging products.
+ Transport materials to the next station in the manufacturing process.
+ Complete production tickets, press production sheets, and downtime sheets.
+ Sweep and pick up scrap materials.
+ Set up and operate mixing equipment.
+ Load and unload materials into milling machines.
+ Prepare raw materials based on batch tickets.
+ Utilize computers to check scales, loaders, mills, and vacuum hoists.
+ Inspect materials for defects and inconsistencies.
+ Complete documentation and paperwork.
+ Drive tow motor.
+ Maintain a clean work environment through sweeping and cleaning.

**Work Environment**
Our facility operates on a European shift system with afternoons from 2:48 PM to 11:00 PM being the third shift. This role is in a non-temperature-controlled environment with presses operating at 300 degrees, making it very hot despite fans running continuously. The work is physically demanding, requiring standing at one press for an entire shift, which can be tiring, particularly in summer heat. The Middlefield Plant aims to expand its workforce from 104 to 160 employees on the plant floor.

Join our team as a Machine Operator , where you will contribute to our quality-focused production process in a clean room environment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Work in the finishing department to ensure high-quality production standards are met.
+ Perform quality checks and inspections to prepare products for shipping.
+ Measure and handle coils, ensuring accurate results.
+ Follow detailed work instructions to maintain consistency in production.
+ Work with rubber tubing, placing it into coils as part of the finishing process.
+ Handle and lift up to 40 lbs as part of the routine tasks.
+ Maintain a fast-paced, repetitive position while adhering to clean room protocols.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience as a machine operator in a production environment.
+ Ability to read and follow work instructions accurately.
+ Capability to lift 40 lbs as required.
+ Proficiency in performing visual and quality inspections of parts.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in injection molding or extrusion operations.
+ Understanding of FDA compliance and GMP environment standards.
+ BG in pharmaceutical manufacturing is advantageous.

**Work Environment**
Work in a state-of-the-art facility equipped with highly technical automated extrusion machines. The environment is extremely clean, sterile, and temperature-controlled, with air conditioning in the summer and heating in the winter. Employees are provided lockers for personal belongings and must wear paper gowns, hairnets, and appropriate PPE as per GMP/FDA requirements. The facility enforces strict cleanliness protocols, including no food or drinks in the clean room area.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Twinsburg, Ohio.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $8.50 - 18.50/hr.
Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
