Our client, a leading manufacturing organization in the paper industry, is seeking Assistant Machine Operators to join their team. As an Assistant Machine Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing and packaging processes. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Assistant Machine Operator

**Pay Range:** Starting from $18 to $20 an hour
**Shift:** 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM

+ Assist the Operator in meeting production timelines by preparing and staging product for manufacturing.
+ Wrap finished products and stage them in designated areas for shipment or storage.
+ Understand and complete helper checklists accurately to ensure smooth operations.
+ Complete required paperwork efficiently and accurately for production records.
+ May assist the Operators with machine set-up

Join our team as a Machine Operator in a structural steel fabrication shop that is expanding its operations. You will initially train on the 1st shift for a few weeks before transitioning to the 2nd shift. This role involves operating fabrication equipment and the iron machine to produce parts and roll forms.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate fabrication equipment and iron machine to produce structural steel parts.
+ Train on the 1st shift and transition to the 2nd shift upon completion of training.
+ Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate production.
+ Handle and lift materials weighing up to 75lbs.
+ Maintain safety standards while operating machinery and using hand, grinding, and power tools.
**Essential Skills**
+ 2+ years of metal manufacturing experience in a shop environment.
+ Mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints.
+ Experience in fabrication and machine operation.
+ Safety-conscious attitude when working around machines.

You will work with a digital touch screen panel to control various production settings and use a desktop computer for data entry and monitoring.
