The Opportunity: The Assembly Line Leader position is responsible for overseeing a production line within an Assembly and Contract Packaging plant, ensuring maximum productivity and quality.
* Shift: 5:30am - 2:30pm (M-F)
The starting Pay: $20 per hour, plus a 0.50 cent shift diff. The benefits for this role may include short-term bonus incentive, health, dental and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts or health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and paid sick leave as required by applicable state/local law, 10 days of paid vacation, and 11 days of paid holidays, subject to annual change. How Will You Impact WestRock company:
* Use the Work Order as a guide to individual job requirements and specifications.
* Set-up line or assist with line set-up as needed, using the line diagram.
* Responsible for inventory control, tracking and reconciliation of customer product and components, assuring that both are correct and properly placed on the line; kept in good supply as needed for the completion of the shift's production and the start of the next shift, if applicable.
* Assign temporary staffing service employees to individual tasks on the line as outlined in the work order and train them accordingly.
* Oversee and monitor production flow on the line, trouble shoot problems, make equipment adjustments as needed, recommend and institute line improvements, and direct temporary staff labor issues to Assembly Supervisor.
* Motivate temporary staffing service employees in order to maintain maximum production line efficiency and meet production goals.
* Ensure that the completed finished product meets all specifications outlined in the Work Order and complete hourly quality checks to verify Ensure adherence to Company policies, SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and CGMPs (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), job specific instructions, and customer specific instructions.
* Accurately maintain all production paperwork, including recording and reconciling temporary staff labor hours, and enter production data into the computer system.
* Maintain line cleanliness through good housekeeping practices.
* Responsible for safety on the line and for adhering to all safety rules and programs, and for attending all required safety training.
* Communicate with other departments, such as warehouse, maintenance and quality assurance as appropriate and necessary, and keep Supervisor apprised of issues related to the line.
* Responsible for the overall Safety and cleanliness of equipment and area.
* Work in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures.
* Overtime is required.
* Perform other duties as assigned.

**Work Environment**
Our facility spans over 350,000 square feet and houses roughly 250 employees. The production area, resembling a sterile hospital environment, adheres to GMP practices with gown, hairnet, and shoe cover protocols. The warehouse area requires steel toe shoes, but not GMP attire. Both areas are clean, organized, and climate-controlled. Shifts vary across departments, offering flexibility to suit different schedules.

**Overview**
We are seeking an experienced machine operator to join our team on the 2nd shift. In this position, you will act as the Stacker Operator - this position is responsible for the operation of the part of the corrugator that forms loads of sheets after the paper has been combined, slit, scored, and cut to length. **Responsibilities**
+ Monitor the automatic functions of the stacker and make manual adjustments when necessary.
+ Place tags in each load to identify the product.
+ Place bottom sheets and tie sheets in the loads to protect and stabilize the product.
+ Perform quality inspections such as board quality, sheet, score dimensions, and board caliper.
+ Record inspection results on the Factory Job Ticket and maintain SPC Charts for caliper readings.
+ Communicate with crew members to make adjustments when nonconforming product is identified.
+ Read work orders or follow oral instructions.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
**Essential Skills**
+ 2+ years machine operating/production experience.
+ Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
+ Ability to read and comprehend simple English instructions.
+ Ability to add, subtract, and read measuring equipment.
+ Basic computer skills to input production information in the system.
+ Knowledge of corrugated, machine operation, industrial, and packaging is a plus.
+ Ability to perform heavy lifting.

Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Machine Operator to join our team. You will be responsible for measuring beams of steel and metal according to customer specifications, operating auto saw and laser machines, and assisting in the assembly of carts and other products. You will receive training on robotic welding machines and various niche machines.
Responsibilities
+ Utilize a tape measure to measure beams of steel and metal to customer order size.
+ Operate an auto saw machine to cut pieces to length, primarily using a laser machine.
+ Assist in assembling carts, pallets, and other products using hand and power tools.
+ Set up and operate robotic welding machines.
+ Cross-train between different machinery and job duties.
Essential Skills
+ Strong machine operating background.
+ Ability to read and understand blueprints.
+ Experience with micrometers and calipers.
+ Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
+ Mechanical inclination and ability to read a tape measure.
+ Willingness to cross-train between machinery and duties.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with shop equipment is a plus.
+ Heavy manufacturing background is advantageous.
+ Forklift experience is beneficial but not required.
