**Shift Information:**
+ 2nd & 3rd Shift
+ 8 hour shift to start (Will convert to a 12 hour shift)
+ Monday through Friday and every other Saturday

**Required Experience:**
+ 2 years of Machine Operator experience
+ Compliance with Food Manufacturing GMP policies
+ Able to work 12 hour shifts

As a Heavy Machine Operator, you will work behind the wheel operating a variety of heavy machinery and equipment, following all safety guidelines and job specifications to ensure projects are completed both safely and on time. You will also perform and record regular maintenance for your equipment, report any defects or issues immediately, and keep equipment in good, clean working order. The ideal candidate has all the necessary licensing to operate heavy machinery, works well in a team environment, and maintains the highest safety standards.

**Job Description:**
In this role, you'll operate and set up CNC Machine Operators, or CNC Machinists, and manage computer numeric controlled (CNC) equipment from setup to operation, producing parts and tools from different resources including metal and plastic.
**Job Details:**
- Direct Hire Opportunity
- 1st and 2nd Shift, Monday to Friday (40-50 hours per week)

**Key Duties and Responsibilities:**
- Responsible for setting up, operating and adjusting heavy duty Press Brake Machine while adhering to layout details
- Ability to perform intermediate CNC machine operations working from blueprints, drawings and procedures
- Set up the machines to process the raw materials and adjust tool & work offsets
- Prepare the raw materials for parts manufacturing and review prints / parts plans to ensure the correct materials are being used
- Use part drawings to determine part profiles and make adjustments as required
- Operate overhead crane for lifting and moving materials
- Uphold all Workplace Policies, Procedures and Safety Protocols
- Address and resolve reported defective materials, spills or questionable conditions within your department
- Complete all paperwork neatly and accurately
- Ability to read and interpret layout details and parts lists, as well as use tape measure and calipers
**Qualifications/Requirements:**
REQUIRED
- High School graduate / GED or relevant experience
PREFERRED
- Minimum of 1 year experience in using machining equipment like lathes, mills, or drills
- 2+ years experience working with CNC Press Brake/CNC Rolling Machine
- Basic programming skills in Fanuc style controls
- Metal industry or Construction experience is not required, but highly preferred
