**Job Title: Machine Operator**
**Job Description**
We are seeking dedicated and skilled Machine Operators to join our team. This role offers comprehensive training, regular check-ins with production managers, and collaboration with the engineering team to support your success.
**Responsibilities**
+ Work from work orders, understand individual customer processes, and meet key performance indicators (KPIs).
+ Use micrometers and calipers to ensure product quality.
+ Perform minor preventive maintenance on machinery, including oiling.
+ Utilize a computer to track raw material usage.
+ Inspect pieces for defective materials and any unusual conditions.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in production, assembly, and general production.
+ Proficiency with hand tools and blueprints.
+ Ability to pack and handle materials effectively.
+ Frequent mobility and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
+ Strong mathematical skills, including decimals, fractions, and measurements.
+ Comfortable operating multiple machines simultaneously.
+ Competency in computer use, machine operation, inspection, and troubleshooting.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in manufacturing or a mechanically inclined position is preferred.
+ Open-minded approach to learning new skills.
+ Willingness to be trained on company machinery.
+ Stable work history without frequent job changes.

**Work Environment**
Work in a well-lit environment with state-of-the-art machinery across seven departments, each handling distinct production processes. Embrace a diverse culture, although some areas may be louder. The facility operates Sunday to Thursday from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Turners Falls, Massachusetts.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $21.58 - $21.58/hr.
