Shifts:
- 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday + 10% Shift Premium
- 3rd Shift: 9:30 PM 6:00 AM, Monday through Friday + 15% Shift Premium
Our client has an exciting opportunity for a CNC Machinist to join their team. The Machinist will be responsible for the setup and operation of manual and CNC lathes & grinders. The Machinist will also ensure that machines are properly tooled and maintained.
Responsibilities:- Set-up / operation of miscellaneous CNC and/or manual machines, including, lathes, drills, grinders.
- Positioning and securing work pieces to holding devices, machine tables, chucks, centers or fixtures etc.
- Machine and/or tests parts according to engineering and customer standards and specifications.
- Perform inspection and/or testing related activities to ensure that parts are machined in accordance with manufacturing standards and blueprint specifications. Visually inspects parts to ensure they are free of burrs or damaged surfaces.
- Maintain proper identification of parts per planning specifications and ensures that accurate and reliable records and documentation are maintained.
- Communicate change of shift requirements to ensure team members receive accurate and reliable information and documentation.
- Perform routine maintenance of machines and equipment operated (TPMs).
- Adheres to safety rules, manufacturing / quality procedures and company policies. Maintaining a clean and organized 6s work area.
- Ensure the continuous flow of materials and parts through the Cell.
- Accomplishes organizational goals by accepting new and different requests, while exploring opportunities to add value to the team.
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2-5 years experience in one or more of the following:
- CNC Lathes
- CNC Grinding
- Manual Machining
- Ability to use common measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, gauges (pin, thread, indicator, height), optical comparators etc.
- Must be able to read and follow blueprints and manufacturing planning's
- Ability to perform multiple tasks at the same time and work in a team environment
- Ability to work afternoons (2:30 PM 11 PM) or nights (9:30pm 6am)
- Training on days for 6-9 months depending on experience
- Physical lifting requirements include; ability to lift 50 pounds (4 inches to 25 inches), capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 pounds, a grip strength of at least 50 pounds, and be able to reach above the shoulder (65 inches).
- U.S. Citizenship status required.
- Must be able to pass a full-panel drug screen (THC included)

Operates, sets up, and maintains industrial manufacturing equipment used for the production of metal products, ensuring compliance with customer specifications while monitoring quality, processing paperwork, and maintaining a clean work area. Meets fast-paced production requirements.
**Duties and Responsibilities:**
+ Operate and tend machines to cut, shape, weld, and bend metal materials.
+ Observe machine operation to detect malfunctions and address them promptly.
+ Position, adjust, and secure workpieces against stops, on arbors, or in chucks, fixtures, or automatic feeding mechanisms, either manually or using a hoist.
+ Align layout marks with dies or blades.
+ Extract or lift jammed pieces from machines using fingers, wire hooks, or lift bars.
+ Set machine stops or guides to specified lengths as indicated by scale, rule, or template.
+ Perform material changes, tool changes, and tool setups after being trained and approved.
+ Conduct minor machine maintenance, such as oiling or cleaning machines, dies, or workpieces, and adding coolant to machine reservoirs.
+ Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
+ Continuously inspect workpieces for defects and measure them using rules, templates, gauges, calipers, micrometers, or other measuring instruments to ensure accuracy.
+ Ensure products meet established quality criteria with zero non-conformances.
+ Review and adhere to the most recent Quality Alerts, Job Instructions, Verification Instructions, Boundary Samples, Cleaning Plans, and other instructional materials.
+ Remove burrs, sharp edges, rust, or scale from workpieces using files, hand grinders, wire brushes, or power tools.
+ Complete daily reporting paperwork accurately and efficiently.
+ Maintain housekeeping of machines and work cells.
+ Communicate effectively with other operators, maintenance personnel, team leaders, and supervisors to maintain productivity.
+ Train others when required.
+ Maintain company safety standards by working safely.
+ Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Machine Operator to operate corner board machinery within our manufacturing facility
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Stocking all paper and product including inventory neatly using organizing skills
- Operate Corner Board Machines properly per SOPS and utilize quality specifications per standard operating procedures (SOPS).
- Meet production quotas within a reasonable training/retraining time period.
- Ensure housekeeping of equipment and surrounding area is acceptable per SOP. This must be completed daily (clean machines, seep floor, clean any oil spills, return tools and any spare parts etc.)
- Follow safety SOPS and maintain proper use on all PPE at all times of operation (Personal Protective Equipment)
- Generate accurate daily production reporting for Supervisor.
- Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory, monthly.
- Maintain possession and good condition of assigned tools.
- Alert Supervisor of potential maintenance and/ or safety concerns. Follow all JSA and LOTO procedures.
- Receive and follow designated jo process and safety training.
- Perform assigned preventative maintenance of the equipment.
- Operate forklift only if trained to do so. Use a Pallet Jack for most product movements.

Spinnaker, a Mactac Company, is hiring motivated individuals to join our team! We produce pressure-sensitive materials used in everyday items like labels, packaging, medical devices, displays, and more.
Location: Spinnaker, a Mactac Company - Troy, OH
Pay :
- Starting at $21.42/hr + shift differential
- Earn up to $22.06 within first 6 months!
Shifts Available:
- 2nd Shift: 2:00pm to 10:00pm
- 3rd Shift: 10:00pm to 6:00am

What You'll Do (Machine Operator):
- Help operate machines that coat or cut materials
- Ensure materials are loaded and machine settings are correct
- Complete basic paperwork and computer entries
- Communicate with your team about production status
- Monitor materials and flag any quality issues
Requirements:
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (team help for anything heavier)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
