TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS SPECIALIST POSITION OVERVIEW
This position is assigned a specific technology (security, access control, video and intercom) and a geographical territory to discover opportunities through the existing base of customers, call-ins, marketing and through their own search efforts. The TSS is also responsible for designing, estimating, demonstrating, presenting the proposal and closing the sale on their technology 70% of the time without assistance from a Solution Designer on their respective technology. In addition, the position is responsible for creating and maintaining solid, long-term business relationships with a limited number of assigned direct accounts (Account Contacts) on behalf of the company while growing sales across all technologies through an assigned customer base.
FUNCTIONS OF THE TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS SPECIALIST
- Manage leads by tracking and following up on them.
- Master product knowledge and sales expertise for his/her assigned systems.
- Master product knowledge on technology to add to or upgrade existing customer's systems.
- Capable of determining the customer's needs or "pain".
- Capable of "qualifying" the customer per Tech's Sales Process.
- Must "easily" talk about all of Tech's systems to determine interest in order to generate leads for other TSS's or to their own Account Contacts.
- Qualify and prepare responses for RFP/RFI's for prospective customers.
- Capable of estimating service contracts for assigned technology.
- Has a full knowledge of "Managed Services" and how to create a monthly estimate with services as well as a one-time capital purchase of their technology.
- Develop and deliver sales presentations in a professional and effective manner by:
- Developing technical presentations for potential customers, which can include industry trends, codes and government regulations.
- Performing system demonstrations as needed
- Close sales and meet monthly sales quotas as defined by the Customer Base Sales Director.
- Meets required year-end Gross Profit quota.
- Enters all sales activity into Salesforce.
- Keeps sales funnel, expired dollars and lead dashboards updated in Salesforce.
- Attend and participate in the sales training program provided or required by the Director of Customer Base Sales or the Executive Director of Sales for the Direct Channel.
- Attend tradeshows and conferences, as needed.
- Attend one-on-one meetings and prepared for the meeting.
- Works with other sales staff to cross generate leads.
- Able to support oneself 70% of the time without additional technical support and request technical assistance for assigned systems from a Solution Designer on their technology.

Job Description
One of Insight Global's clients seeking a Technology Solutions Lead plays a central role in delivering business-enabling technology solutions across the firm. Reporting to the Director of Data Analytics and Technology Solutions, this role supports intake, documentation, product management, and implementation of enterprise applications and data solutions. The ideal candidate brings strong communication, delivery oversight, and requirements analysis skills to support initiatives including the firm's Product Delivery Process (PDP), financial systems (e.g., Elite 3E), and enterprise data platforms (e.g., Microsoft Fabric).
- Evangelize the firmwide development process for new and existing projects.
- Ensuring projects adhere to firmwide development processes.
- Lead the design, planning, and delivery of technology solutions that support the firm's strategic and operational goals.
- Contribute to and maintain the firm's technology roadmap and prioritize initiatives in alignment with business objectives.
- Manage technology projects from inception to completion and provide project implementation support for enterprise applications.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives) and manage product and development backlogs in Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with hybrid development team, cross-functional departments, and stakeholders to ensure accurate interpretation of requirements, alignment with firm standards, and delivery of scalable, high-quality solutions; validate vendor deliverables for completeness, usability, and adherence to technical and data governance expectations.
- Partner with QA team to define test scenarios, review test plans, and ensure adequate coverage for regression, performance, and user acceptance testing.
- Champion IT best practices, frameworks, and governance processes across all projects.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve existing systems and processes.

- 5 years of software delivery, product management, business analysis, or project management in a lead role
- Experience with .NET, SQL, Power BI, Power Automate, and Azure DevOps

POSITION SUMMARY
Plan and coordinate information technology-related equipment installations, moves, additions, changes, and system enhancements to improve reliability/performance. Enter commands and activate controls on computer and peripheral equipment. Resolve non-routine problems with hardware, software, or guest room internet access. Analyze, recommend, and implement process improvements. Maintain inventory of technology devices. Maintain Private Branch Exchange (PBX)/telephone switchboard systems and associated hardware. Monitor computer and telephone rooms to see whether they are locked and access is restricted using interrogated key system.
Follow all company policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications. Verify uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests' service needs. Speak with others using clear and professional language; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Promote employee compliance with company standards/policies and external regulations; serve as a departmental role model or mentor. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of employees. We aggressively compensate overachievers and offer a competitive base, multiple bonuses and uncapped commissions. Total Compensation $60,000- $50,000 or higher. Average first year earnings between 60-70k with an opportunity to consistently increase annual income to exceed 100k within 2-3 years. We offer additional compensation which includes a cell phone allowance and vehicle allowance, excellent benefits including but not limited to: medical, dental, vision, uncapped paid time off, life insurance, 401k with a generous match, company paid trips and events as well as opportunities for professional growth and advancement.
