Title: Automotive Supplier Quality / Reliability Engineer
Position Description:
- Implement commodity-specific business plans to ensure your suppliers exceed all corporate launch, quality, capacity, warranty metrics, and vehicle delivery - Lead cross-functional decisions with Ford & Supplier leadership to drive resolution of open issues. - Implement actions to ensure zero vehicle losses from suppliers - Principal for on-site troubleshooting and corrective actions for emergency supplier situations - Lead adherence to Ford standards (i.e.Q1) - Drive assessment & validation of manufacturing feasibility at identified supplier sites - Execute the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and Advanced Quality Planning Process (APQP) - Use available data, metrics, and business plans to drive future sourcing decisions ensuring improved future quality - Implement commodity-specific business plans to ensure your suppliers exceed all corporate launch, quality, capacity, warranty metrics, and vehicle delivery - Lead on-site troubleshooting and corrective actions for emergency supplier situations

**Job Summary**
We are seeking an Automotive Systems Engineer with 2 to 6 years of experience in diagnostics validation test plan development and automotive protocols. The ideal candidate will have expertise in CANoe and CANalyzer along with a strong background in test and defect management component testing and system testing. This role requires domain skills in auto-verification and validation as well as auto-detailed design. The position is office-based with day shifts and may require travel.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on testing objectives and outcomes.

+ Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in automotive testing.
+ Support the development of auto-verification and validation strategies to enhance testing efficiency.

**Qualifications**

+ Ability to contribute to auto-detailed design processes.
