**Job Description:**
This job is responsible for supporting multiple security engineering efforts, focused on encryption and digital certificate management, to deliver enterprise security capabilities. Key responsibilities include supporting the design, development, and implementation of systems contributing to the protection of systems, devices, and sensitive data. Job expectations include delivering milestones on engineering initiatives, partnering with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for collaboration, and solving complex issues within one or more security domains with moderate oversight.
**Responsibilities:**
With a focus on mainframe encryption and digital certificate management:
+ Designs, develops, and implements systems to contribute to the protection of system boundaries, harden computer systems and network devices against attacks, and secure sensitive data
+ Drives complex technical information security projects to ensure on-time delivery
+ Identifies and raises risks and potential vulnerabilities at all stages of the security engineering process
+ Leverages knowledge of information security technologies, techniques, and processes while continuing to grow knowledge within one or more security engineering domains
+ Identifies, defines, and documents system security requirements
+ Works closely with a diverse set of stakeholders with varying priorities to debate and negotiate paths forward
+ Thinks outside the box to develop multiple solutions to complex problems
**Required Qualifications :**
+ 5 years supporting or administering mainframe infrastructure systems
+ 3 years experience using mainframe security products as a technical or provisioning support person.
+ 3 years experience working in a financial service, insurance, or other highly regulated industry.
+ Background in support of security and risk in a mainframe environment
+ Ability to use general Office Suite products on a Windows based computer
+ Ability to participate in off-hour rotating on-call schedule
+ Ability to work independently and on a team.
**Desired Qualifications :**
+ 5 years hands on experience installing, configuring, and/or administering mainframe encryption technologies
+ 5 years hands on experience developing and managing digital certificates through mainframe security technologies
+ Experience working with external digital certificate consumers to ensure appropriate encryption/certificate is applied to data transmissions.
+ Experience analyzing mainframe systems and applications to ensure proper encryption and certificate management is applied.
+ Knowledge of BMC Remedy or IT Service Management Tool.

Responsibilities:

• This position is responsible supporting enhancements and new capabilities to an existing, critical, mainframe based business application within Claims applications space.
• As a systems analyst, it is required you bring strong experience of performing Systems Analysis for various projects and build a backlog of systems requirements that can be assigned to various developers.
• Responsible for ensuring reviews of the requirements, designs, code and help plan SIT and UAT testing as well as releases.
• Work closely with the business team comprising of business analysts, business owners, QA team as well as IT team members like Applications Architects, Developers, product and project managers and other team members.
• Mentor and guide developers and ensure delivery with high quality

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree and 4 years Information Technology OR Technical Certification and/or College Courses and 6-year Information Technology experience OR 8 years Information Technology experience.
