The **Maintenance Coordination Senior Associate** supports our Operations teams by reviewing and refining the fleet's Operational Maintenance Plans with SMEs, entering SAP notifications, creating training materials, and auditing compliance during site visits. This position ensures not only ensure accuracy of maintenance data but also identify gaps, tracks recurring issues, and contributes to small-scale continuous improvement projects.
**Role Responsibilities:**
+ Gather and extract maintenance requirements from OEM manuals and input into company upload templates
+ Collect Balance of Plant (BOP) maintenance requirements and enter into company upload templates
+ Partner with internal SMEs to review, refine, and enhance maintenance practices with a focus on increased reliability and reduced cost
+ Enter basic SAP notifications
+ Assist with creation of SAP help guides and training material to support compliance with company documentation policies
+ Conduct site visits to audit adherence to standards and gather on-the-ground feedback
+ Extract maintenance records from SAP and support the creation of reports to Operations Management
+ Compare planned vs. actual maintenance execution data to identify gaps
+ Track recurring minor issues and escalate trends to SMEs for review
+ Participate in small-scale continuous improvement projects (e.g., reducing backlog, improving template accuracy)
+ Develop technical guides for that accompany SAP Notifications for technifications
**Job Requirements and Experiences:**
+ High school diploma or equivalent is required. Certificate or associate degree preferred
+ Minimum 1 year of relevant administrative experience

+ Intermediate knowledge of SAP for managing Task Lists and Maintenance Plans

**Job Summary:**
The Equipment Maintenance Specialist ensures the reliable operation of production equipment used in brazing, plating, sputtering, and inspection processes at STC Material Solutions. This role requires hands-on troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, reverse engineering when needed, and coordination with vendors. It is key to minimizing downtime and supporting quality and delivery.
**Essential Functions:**
+ Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair critical equipment related to clean-room, thermal processing, plating, deposition, and inspection systems-including hydrogen and vacuum furnaces, sputtering systems, gold/nickel plating lines, vacuum leak testers, XRF, profilometers, and drying ovens.
+ Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for equipment issues that affect production output, process consistency, or product quality.
+ Develop and update preventive maintenance schedules and work instructions to ensure reliable equipment operation.
+ Manage and maintain maintenance documentation for all production and process equipment.
+ Maintain/upgrade/create and regularly update a centralized database of equipment conditions, service history, and maintenance activities.
+ Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to align equipment performance with process requirements.
+ When necessary, reverse engineer mechanical, electrical, or control systems to restore or improve function.
+ Interface with equipment vendors and external service providers for repair, parts sourcing, and technical consultation.
+ Travel on occasion to evaluate new or used equipment for suitability to IJ Research processes (e.g., brazing, sputtering, plating, etc.).
+ Participate in or lead equipment installations and facility upgrades related to utilities and infrastructure.
+ Maintain proper documentation of work performed, including equipment logs and service reports.
**DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:**
+ 5+ years of relevant hands-on technical experience in a manufacturing or R&D environment
+ Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude; familiarity with vacuum, high-temperature, and clean-room compatible equipment

**Total Rewards**

Conditions**
Work is normally performed on site at STC's campus in Santa Ana, California. Office work is performed in a climate-controlled environment, but substantial time is required on the manufacturing shop floor, which can be noisy and dusty, and is not climate controlled in the summer season. Proper safety equipment is provided by STC where necessary.
**Physical Demands:**
Work may involve standing and walking for moderate to lengthy periods of time, with some duties performed from a seated position. There is potential for eyestrain from reading detailed materials and computer screen. Deadlines, workloads during peak periods, and changing priorities may cause increased stress levels. Work may include bending and squatting, as well as occasional lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 50 lbs, or pushing/pulling carts loaded with up to 500 lbs.

**Work Environment**

Job Description
**POSITION SUMMARY and SCOPE**
The technician's job is to ensure the smooth running of the production system and to maintain equipment for which they are responsible in a specified condition.
**Note: This is a third shift position.**
**Position Responsibilities:**
+ Carrying out corrective maintenance.
+ Carrying out preventive maintenance.
+ Carrying out improvement maintenance.
+ Carries out work at the request of the team leader and/or the molding/marking adjusters and/or the Maintenance Manager on tools during production.
+ Analyses, repairs, or replaces defective components.
+ Reporting: Analysis (nature of the breakdown, duration of the work, resources required, etc.).
+ Organizes work in compliance with safety rules.
+ Drafts work orders.
+ Enters information in the MP2 (computerized maintenance management system).
+ Makes production reference changes on sensitive equipment.
+ Follows applicable methods and procedures.
+ Advises on and participates in meetings.
+ Ensures the follow-up and organization of work in compliance with the set deadlines and taking into account operational constraints.
+ Carries out environmental safety audits (5S) in all technical premises and reports any discrepancies to the Maintenance Manager.
+ Contributes to the improvement of production tools and maintenance procedures by reporting recurring technical issues and associated solutions.
+ Participates in and seeks out conversations with various business contacts depending on the issues encountered to arrive at an optimal solution.
+ Carries out work by themselves, takes responsibility for organizing work or has work carried out by third parties according to the skills required.
**Required Education:**
+ High School diploma or equivalent
+ 2 years' higher education in maintenance preferred
**Required Experience:**
+ Five (5)+ years experience in maintenance role(s), which include electricity, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics, automation, robotics, and/or vision.
+ Demonstrated ability to read drawings, diagrams, and technical instructions.
+ Ability to analyze a breakdown, make a diagnosis, then carry out the work.
+ Use job-related IT resources (machine program, MP2)
+ Familiarity with 5S methods.
+ Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently.
+ Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure.
**Preferred Experience:**
+ Videojet or equivalent ink printing experience
+ Experience with Siemens or Allen Bradley
+ Experience with Vision Systems
+ Pick & Place robotics experience
